HISTORY
The Norwegian company Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace is one of three companies under the Kongsberg group and is a continuation of Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk. Kongsberg makes products for both defense and aerospace, and has over a number of years developed a number of very successful products such as the Naval Strike Missiles, Penguin ASW to mention a few and the market leading protector series, featuring multiple families of remote controlled weapon stations and turrets , which countries all over the world have already started integrating on their vehicles and vessels even.

As a result of constant development and new ideas and to get new customers, they regularly have demonstrations where they show potential. This wagon is one of many different! This is an Mowag Piranha 8x8 that had a Kongsberg RS6 mounted for the testing/demonstration in Norway with Polish Piorun anti air missiles integrated, to show potential in the vehicles with more mobile and cheap anti air weaponry, as this is heavily requested by NATO troops. The demonstrations/tests were done live at Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace’s own firing range at Hengsvann, Norway.

The Mowag Piranha is an armoured fighting vehicle that has been developed and designed by the Swiss company General Dynamics European Land Systems also often written Mowag GmbH. There is a lot of variants of this vessel, among other things it can come in 4x4 and up to 10x10 and with various amounts of protection. The vehicle is in use by a Number of nations.

IN GAME
I think this would be a great addition to the game as either a light tank or in the role as anti air, as this cannon most likely has target lock on and tracking with great flexibility and with the MANPADs it would be even better at higher flying aerial vehicles. The vehicle itself is quite agile as well, great mobility and is amphibious.

I wonder how would the Self Destruct round work? Would it be similar to proxy or ahead?

I think its just the round that self destructs if it doesn’t hit the target :)
