przybysz86 10,309 Report post Posted October 11, 2015 Do anyone have sources on the roll rate? It seems that something is wrong. Basically sharing similar aerodynamic setup P36 experiences roll lock-out at high speeds while P40 gets better and better with speed. Also I am well aware that wikipedia is not a reliable source but still: Compared to the Allison-engined P-40, the P-36 shared the later P-40's traits of excellent high-speed handling, of roll rate that improved at high speed and of relatively light controls at high speed.
