Can anyone tell me if your squadron stats for air targets destroyed for full real battle are constantly changing to a lower number? Ours are changeing all the time to lower numbers yet our deaths remain the same. I have checked stats with other squads in the squadron tabs and doesn't look like anyone elses changing. Looking for a response from someone in the dev of the game for an answer. thanks

So can I ask what was the point of having me register a unit name early if other units can come along and take the same name? Ours is "Lucky 13" unit tag [L13]...another unit has come along and is also named "Lucky Thirteen" only they spelled it out instead of using the numbers...the tag is even similar =L13th=...we aren't associated in anyway and I feel it should be changed.

A suggestion since the thread is still active...

If a similar situation occurs where a name isn't abiding the rules in some way, couldn't you change the name of the squadron to a string of numbers?
If they want a proper name instead of "BAN0286023658" for example they will have to pay for it. Or "deactivate/hide" the squadron until they change the name.

This will really only serve to spare people the trouble of gathering up members again if they can't pay or somehow missed all warnings. If they constantly ignore warnings I'm not sure they deserve that courtesy even but hey, it's something.

Really? Please tell me your not that naive.

Please note, not a comment back about the NKVD. NONE.  love it, bias at its best.......If your going to be a community helper and ask for squads with offensive names to be reported and shrug this off like nothing, your nothing more then Gaijinen's lap dog who has no care what so ever.  Wait I do stand to be corrected. You love them Community helper tags dont ya?

There no different then the Gestapo. NO DIFFERENCE. But you can bet your sweet derriere if a squad came up named Gestapo it would be gone ASAP. Here is just a tad bit of the MASS war crimes they did.

:learn:

Lets start with Poland........(And lets not forget, they did worst to their own people so why any Russian holds on to the fairy tale belief they were a "worthy" group is pathetic.)

By 1941, most of the ethnically Polish population, subject to Soviet rule for two years already, had already been deported off the border regions to remote areas of the Soviet Union. Others, including a large number of Polish civilians of other ethnicities (mostly Belarusians and Ukrainians), were kept in provisional prisons in the towns of the region, where they awaited deportation either to NKVD prisons in Moscow or to the Country Park. It is estimated that out of 13 million people living in the pre-war Eastern Poland, roughly half a million of people were arrested, more than 90% of them being males. Thus approximately every tenth adult male was imprisoned at the time of the German offensive.[7] Many died in prisons from torture or neglect.[7] Methods of torture included scalding victims in boiling water and cutting off ears, noses and fingers.[19] Timothy Snyder estimates that the NKVD shot some 9,817 imprisoned Polish citizens following the German invasion of the USSR in 1941

And here is the Ukraine, you know, their own people....

Lviv (Lwów): the massacres in this city began immediately after German attack, on June 22 and continued until June 28. The NKVD executed several thousand inmates in a number of provisional prisons. Among the common methods of extermination were shooting the prisoners in their cells, killing them with grenades thrown into the cells or starving them to death in the cellars. Some were simply bayoneted to death.[2] It is estimated that over 4000 people were murdered that way, while the number of survivors is estimated at ca. 270.[12] The slaughter was briefly terminated when local Ukrainian uprising forced the NKVD to retreat, but then it returned

So I would really like to have someone explain to me how this is ok?

Let the lies flow............................................

Very truthful history, Sir!

:salute:

To say someone is "that naive" or a troll to not know NKVD is kinda messed up. I had no idea what it was, nor that it was offensive in any way. I wouldn't have used those letters anyway, but still. Maybe realize that not everyone is as well versed in history.

As far as squadron naming, I named my original squadron before I even knew there were forums for the game. It only just came to ps4, and I fell in love. Neither squadron name I've used is offensive, but I didn't even know there were rules. The internet is like the wild wild west, so I guess everyone kinda assumes that its not a big deal anymore. Forgive my ignorance in all subjects, and since people usually can't help it, I'm sure I'll take plenty of s--- for this..... Edited by *facebangr69

Sandwich69, are you sure that your nickname not violate rules? Maybe it is an insult to one of the languages of the world?

In fact, fufufu - is interjection of surprise, in the Russian language. Are you surprised?

So, you really believe people can ignore rules, make names that are not allowed and we should change name for free? Interesting.

Yes, yes they should, when the rules are very strict and most people don't even know they are there, yes they should be given a chance to change their name for free. The ridiculous PR stunts gaijin keeps pulling never cease to amaze me..

FuFu is disrespectfull not because of the name, but because of the behaviour of lots of players in your squadron. A lot of players are fed up with these constant TK and KS.

But, well, you probably won't understand me and see this message.

1) You can always check out the name of the squad in game, just type "RedEye" and if you won't find any squad with that name, feel free to create squadron with this name. And I don't think that there's gonna be any problems with that tag.

2) Only one person (the creator of this squadron) must pay 2500 GE.

I have a feeling that its good to have squadrons called NKVD, Gestapo and whatever nasty, horrible little nonsense people want to be.

This warns players with sense to avoid these squadrons as they will generally be lorded over by a hatemonger who attracts other low brow idiots. Then they abuse, troll and grief all around them to make up for their social and genital inadequacy.

Bit like the real NKVD and Gestapo.

Seryously?

Remember this game isn't played only in Russia, or the US or in the Europe. It's a worldwide game, words that mean something in the US may not mean the same thing in other countries.

CCCP = Clube de Campo Country Paulistano (Paulistano's Country Field Club, a golf club in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil).

Sandwich69 = a tasty food and a number.

0,666... = 6/9 (remember your math class)

fufu = when a person is kind of sick and you want to tell him he looks sick in a lovely way, in Brazil you say: "Você está tão fufu/fufuzinho" (You are so fufu(sick looking), fufuzinho being the diminutive)

And also, whats the problem with not knowing the meaning of something?

NKVD? What's this? I only need to know the story of my contry. And if somebody use this? Scr3w this. It may have another meaning.

"Oh, this squad have a bad name, it is a bad squad, everyone rams." Everyone rams because of the name? Probably not. And if its true, report the people.

Come on people. Everyone says "Oh, there are kids playing this", you are the real kid if you understand 69 in the mean way.

I don't understand most of the censorship in this game.

I get not allowing things like "SS" or "NKVD", but that's about where it should end.

Also I've never in my life heard of " fufu" meaning anything, let alone a profane term.

As for children playing, most children swear all the time anyway..

to be honest this day in time to not (offend) anybody would be easier to get the tooth ferry and the easter bunny to have babies.the name i was given at birth would more than likely (offend) more than one person.that being said a group of random letters put together that mean one thing to one group could mean something totally different to another group.to put this much time into what (offends) somebody (offends)me.this is without a doubt valuable time that could be spent developing this game further or even better fixing what is already developed.

yours truly,not easily offended

I don't understand why this dev/ administrative team tries to hold players liable for rules they do not present the playerbase IN-GAME. If there are rules dictating what a Squadron can and cannot name itself, that should probably be made abundantly clear when creating it. To not do so, and then punish a player who spent money on that name because he didn't bother shelling out more money to change it at your request is not only unfair, but arguably illegal.

I do agree with your point, but there is one thing you have to understand:

Gaijin is based out of Russia. And in Russia, the laws are very different then they are else where in the world. In fact, Gaijin has and is breaking laws in many other countries around the world, and can do so with out harming their interests. How? Let me explain. For example, the Japanese Navy flag is illegal in China. And War Thunder can be played in China. Why? Because Gaijin does NOT have any offices in China. The swastika in some places is allowed in games for historical purposes only. But you don't see it in War Thunder. Why? All because Gaijin has an office(s) in Germany. So with that Said, if they are not breaking any laws in a nation where they have an office, even if they down right break any laws such as the case I explained involving China, They are not going to do anything because they have no psychical presence in China. It's sad, but that is how this world is.

Hope this helps.

In that case, why treat the rest of the world with the same rules they get in Russia? I mean... for those of us who are outside of Russia and play, many times don't really understand the censorship and sense of "benevolent dictatorship" I feel in WT:  "Here, we implement what we want, not what you ask for, and if you dont like it is your problem, not ours".

I think they should do some kind of exchange programs with other programmers from other countries, to adapt the marketing to a more global market, instead of taking Russia as reference for the rest of us.

I hope I was clear

Hello Potchemusko. Yes, you were very clear. :)

Unfortunately, that also comes down to another thing they are not interested in giving priority at the cost of, you guessed it: Money. Money would be needed to spend on such programs. I liked your idea very much, and feel that Gaijin should do that. But, if they were to do that, they would need to spend extra money (Which I think in my honest opinion, they have more than enough of) to make such programs work.

But, they might do it, I was just stating the facts as I saw them. Hope this helps.

I agree with this idea as well. Personally, as an American citizen, I find it difficult to cope with exactly what Potchemusko mentioned (namely the sense of the ever looming dictatorial nature of the staff). Our laws on EULA's, TOS and so forth apparently differ greatly from Russia. I've really wanted to spend money on this game for a while, but the overall feel of the community and staff has held me back this entire time, for fear of dumping tons of money (because this game is obnoxiously expensive in some aspects) into it, and then losing everything I've paid my real money for.

Exactly my feeling when it comes to opening my wallet.

I hope Gaijin realizes that, by REALLY listening to us, players (transform that "beging dictatorship" to a more "democratic dictatorship") they would earn so much more money.

The rule is simple: if people wants it, they will buy it (or pay for it) because they WANT it.

We have been asking for sooo many fixes and changes, that the "new stuff" thrown at us on every update, is not enough to encourage the Opening Of The Wallet.
