Squadron naming - READ ME!

We would like to remind our squadron commanders that squadron naming falls under same rules as game / forum names. If you have name that is not appropriate and in accordance to rules squadron will have to change name or will be disbanded.

 

Today first squadron was disbanded, because name of squadron was not changed after multiple warnings.

 

If you see squadron with inappropriate name / tag feel free to PM me.

Adherence to the rules is a player's responsibility. If you choose to name your squad something offensive, you may face the consequences. Sounds fair to me.

I know the FAP clan, they have people from my country there, I think clans like those should not be disbanded as they're not offensive, FAP can be an acronym for something harmless

Personally I'm with the idea that if they are given multiple chances they are xxxx out of luck and deserve to have their squadron disbanded. That said, on a PR stand point changing the squadron name to Squadron111191918818 instead of deleting the squadron entirely may be a better way to handle the situation.

FuFu <-- it's inappropriate.  it is universally understood as a profane term.  it's politically incorrect.  there are minors that play this game they shouldn't be exposed to this type of terminology.  xxxx also is synonymous with the middle finger.  this squadrons name is in a clear violation of the game / forum rules.  This squadron name is inflammatory and insulting.  This squadron name is also obscene and or abusive language which includes words and consonants of words and phrases.  xxxx is a short version of an inappropriate profane term in English.  Your forum rules say any phrases in any language written including transliteration.  Your forum rules say its forbidden. 

 

I hope there will be no bias about this, after all its in your forum rules.

 

 

edit - even your own forum xxxx's out the short version of F You.  they don't allow me to type in F you so is it ok to double down my profane term and say F you twice?  it's inappropriate this squadron name should be removed from WT period.

Since I got no response from you I'm assuming its ok if we make our squad name Gestapo. You know, they did the same thing, Their MO was identical. killed the same amount of innocent people, ETC, ETC. Any group that commits mass genocide I would think would be a no/no for a name. One would think  :facepalm:

 

Apparently, the younger generation of Russians don't even know what the NKVD really did. There is a reason why the NKVD was put down in 1946. 

 

KGB on the other hand who were actually legit and excelled at what they did. They were NOT just a bunch of thugs killing their own because good old "uncle Joe" said so. Hell, Andrei Tupolev was arrested by the NKVD and sent to the Gulag. Sounds like a group of really smart guys sending away one of the Soviets best Plane designers to the Gulag for no real reason.   You guys really need to brush up on your history.

 

 

 

Now I'll be honest, I really dont care about any names I see.. Reason why is words have never hurt me. I cant remember the last time I got a broken arm from seeing a word or being called a bad name. But if your going to open the flood gates to political correctness, ( which I dont think you should) KEEP THE NAMES ON PAR. Mass genocide is mass genocide. It don't matter who does it.

It is really no bother to pick an appropriate name for your squad. If you can't think of one, then go back to school so your ability to be a little creative will help you. I think the main problem is so many people do not know the meaning of being responsible for their own actions. Gaijen provides a very simple set of rules for naming. If you dont understand them then again go back to school. Just grow up and play the game without being a baby about it.

they are given a free rename, its not a 2500 recharge, those who fail to rename get disband, they give like 2 days, its not unfair. we had to change B.ombing Operations Over Berlin because of B.O.O.B tag, it happens, now we are something really lame like "KINGS" so im thinking of joining some other squad, but its not a recharge, its fair and legit
