Anyone have a good set up for Cyborg Fly 5? I have a good start, but am having trouble with the hat switch. Could be a bug in setup (I'm on mac-we just got joystick support) or my programing?

Thanks

Matt

So I reverted back to my old Mad Catz CYBORG V1. Have it all set up and the hat switch is working. But now I have a new question on the view set up.

What I want: push forward on hat = 45º up.

What I get: 90º straight up.

What I want: Move hat left or right = looking out over wing.

What I get: full back view, left or right.

Any tips in config?

I tried downloading the config file but as I'm on a mac that wont open.

Thanks

You can adjust this in EDIT VIEW axis. You can adjust view multiplier and offsets. But note adjusting these will make your config file not work with track IR "lock where you look" instead it will only lock what's in front (AB and RB , so keep that in mind if ever get track IR. Edited by CAN_Yeager

THanks for that tip. That helped me go out and find this link. I didn't connect that all those settings are working the same no matter what axis or button we are working on.

Armed with this info I might see if I can get my fly 5 working now.

Thanks

Matt

Hi just a note to Track IR users. If you use the "reset to" and pick a preset joystick config. Example Saitek X52 provided in the game. You will lose your lock where you look function.
If this happens load it write down the settings and then reset and make your own from scratch with the settings you wrote down.
NOTE DO NOT MESS WITH THE VIEW AXIS SETTINGS as doing so will bug your config file and LOCK WHERE YOU LOOK will stop working. This is a sim battle thread I know but many joystick users that use other game modes use these and Gajjins preset config files.
Hope this helps. :) Edited by CAN_Yeager

I'm stuck at work so I can't upload my blk file right now but if anyone is using a Microsoft Sidewinder Force feedback 2 there is a tweak explained in this thread

It makes the FF forces work correctly and removes the auto-center effect witch should only be used in games witch have no FF effects at all.

Just change isXInput:b=no to isXInput:b=yes to make MSFF2 work 100x better. It's under the joystick section or use Ctrl+F to search for it.

I just want other people who own this stick to try this fix as well. Now I can feel the air passing over the control surfaces and with control stiffening added the FF in WT is actually quite good.

Koz Button Assignments HOTAS X:

[...]

It appears to me that all the input controls are FUBAR, throttle controlling roll, fire controlling elevator trim, etc etc.

EDIT: same for Falco, I must fix it on my side it looks like

EDIT2: nvm, I am stupid, didn't notice I had mine set to PS3...
