x52 pro user here. What does everyone have their sensitiviy slider set to in the game control options?

I've had all mine (pitch, roll, and yaw) all set to 0 until last week. I remember I set it up this way a long time ago because that's what felt right. Now since I changed everything seems VERY twitchy...especially pitch. So I bumped that back down to 50% on the slider.

AgenBlaze I'm pretty sure we're never going to be able to hit the broadside of a barn with the Attack 3, the lack of a yaw axis bites. I've tried different configs, such as relative control, and switching where roll and yaw are located.

Anyone can post here how you setuped your Saitek X52 throttle ( in game values ) since i have problem that its not using whole axis.

When i pull throttle from controller to 0 it sits 18-25% throttle ingame, fiddling with deadzone ingame only makes it cut out from other end.

Just a note for those who are setting up a JS in WT for the first time:

The "sensitivity" setting in WT is actually a smoothing function, which becomes extreme when you take it down to ca 4 bars.

With 4 bars of sens, if you pull the physical joystick back 60%, the in-game stick could take 3+ seconds to reach that position.

You can see this by looking at the aileron and elevator during flight. It can initially be confusing because while you are keeping the stick steady, the control surface keeps moving for quite a long time.

It's something you will get used to pretty quickly, but you should be aware of it.

Now, most WT flight models really need some smoothing because they seem to be tuned for mouse instructor. It's sort of a way for the user to tune the FM so it works with a joystick. Again, something to be aware of, especially if you play another flight game without control smoothing, only nonlinearity curves.

Hi! I made a config for the Mad Catz CYBORG joystick. As I mostly play SBs and other autofire Bombers with the joystick, I have put bomb releasing on the main fire button so you may want to change that. Aside of this the config should be good. I wasn't happy with the config provided in the first post of this thread (no offense to the poster) so hopefully I can help people who feel the same way by providing an alternative.[attachment=33619:mad catz drj 2.blk]
