Aim pointer encounters an invisible barrier


I've started having this issue last update, at first only in naval, but recently I'm having it in planes too, and the workaround is too slow for fighter dogfights.

 

What happens: I track an enemy with the mouse. Suddenly, my mouse decides it doesn't want to go further. I can move it in the opposite direction, but no further than a certain azimuth in the original direction.

The workaround is to open the team scores by pressing tab and close them -afterwards the mouse "unsticks" and I can aim freely again. This is not great in naval, but it's deadly in a dogfight.

 

Has anyone experienced this?

what aircraft are you using?  does it have a gun radar?  I ask because gun radar now works in game and it does so by moving the crosshair to adjust for lead.  im not sure if that could be what your experiencing.  I otherwise have not experienced this issue

Unless gun radar appears on the hungarian BF 109 from the battle pass (don't think so), it's not it.

We need to wait for bug fix. It is caused by chat window so you can disable raising chat window when new message is posted.

Let me try disabling the chat and see if that fixes the issue

I just installed the game today to check the new update and encountered this exact problem, it's unplayable at the moment. I wonder if anyone really tests this game on linux...

is this please a "linux only" problem ? (I can't run Windows.)

Disabling chat in battle did seem to fix it for me
