  • A bug that might sometimes cause the hit decals to be too large has been fixed.
  • A bug where the effect of a shell room explosion can not be played has been fixed.
  • A bug where APDS shells were missing secondary fragments has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused the camera to switch to the pilot that ejected during the first flight when the aircraft crashed again has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused the number of the remaining rounds to be coloured grey after reloading has been fixed.

Enduring Confrontation

  • A bug where AI controlled ships at the beginning of the mission dropped their tasks and tried to find the enemy and destroy them has been fixed.
  • Hunter F.58 — The display of the vehicles at long range in the sighting camera for the AGM-65 missiles has been fixed.

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

Main calibre magazine detonation will again result in a ship's destruction.

 

Why? Is it now back to 100% instant death?

I kinda liked the huge damage to your ship on an explosion that could kill you but could also be contained with firefighting and breach repairs.

Noice, but now there's a problem. Now APDS wont even enter and do little damage. Just as before the fix, now there's just not APDS flying down. Not to say that if it hits spaced armor (Like Type-16(FPS) front armor), it wont even go past that.

Aircraft and SPAA cannons still have no fragmentation and no HE damage. RealShatter is still to blame and still needs to go to fix the issue.

PVE Hellicopter Battles. Can you fix the bug where the Attackers spawn and dive into the ground or a mountain? It does it on all the maps I've seen. Rarely do they actually fly around enough that you can attack them. Also, the bombers are hard to attack when they fly so high and never turn around. Kind of pointless unless someone spends the whole game climbing and dedicates the entire game to shooting down bombers which would not be profitable for RP or SL. The RP caps and more than 4 or so players in a game, especially if there's a Russian heli like the KA-50 really makes it hard to get any points/RP.

The APDS is still a lottery - shells randomly either penetrate, generate shrapnel and keep going or disappear and only generate shrapnel - in no particular rule - shoot Tiger II upf - shell stays in one piece, shoot the side - only shrapnel. There are issues with no penetration  for example Shot mk3 wont even pen marder upf - effective 22mm of 70 degree armour well withing its penetration abilities.
How do devs release such big changes without even testing them for like 5 minutes in basic protection analysis like any player can to see that new APDS penetration mechanic does not work properly and should not be introduced to live servers yet. :dntknw:

@Stona   Why didn't you guys fix the thermals problem a lot of us are having now after the update 3 days ago? Or reply back to me either from my post or the message I sent you?

 

I would say thermals not working at top tier is an urgent matter, because the game is unplayable until it is fixed, but you guys did a patch last night that fixed other issues like ejection seats, etc that aren't necessary to play the game, just extra add ons. And the thermals issue is cross platform, people are experiencing the issues on all platforms. 

 

We literally cannot see the enemy. They are the same color as the background. Can you at least let me know here if it is in the process of being fixed? I see you replying to all kinds of people, many of which posts are trivial things, not game-breaking bugs caused by the update.
