No IFF on the J-7D?

Just checking in here if the lack off IFF on the J-7D's radar is a bug or historically accurate?

Ah man, that's terrible. Hope they still add it at some point.
Pretty clear if the versions around it have it, that the J-7D would have it. I'm also pretty sure in plenty of other cases they make assumptions on far bigger decisions... How is a mid-90's jet not equipped with IFF detection...come on. It's more like they are assuming it didn't have it.
