grumpy_ole_man 2 Report post Posted March 1 Enjoying this game more than world of war ships but i understand i am going to get a lot of differance answers but i am struggeling to find a nation i like I am almost going for USSR but not sure, what i like in a plane is strong till i can aim and fly better, control set up for me well be hard to come up with because i only have thumb and index fingure i can use plus i wish i could fly and aim with mouse only. But that wont work i know, do you all feel the match maker is fair i see in my matches where the best piolts are on the other team cause i am losing way to many matches in AAB but that may be do to me being new, i can last a hole match. There are several threads regarding the match maker in the forum, search for "mm". The non-existent equal allocation of experienced pilots to both teams is one of the major weaknesses of the mm and in this game. It leads to steamrolling - at least in my preferred prop BR range 3.7 to 4.0 in Air RB - and there is nothing you can do. It cannot be that complicated to add pilot crew skill (0-75) of the used planes and total gameplay experience (so time as fighter/bomber/strike aircraft combined) into the allocation of the teams, i do not talk about player level (0-100) this could be misleading if a very good, but tanks only player at lev 100 flies the first time in Air RB he is a rookie there, despite his level. I do not talk about squads, different topic, but with similar outcome. Regarding your settings - if mouse and kboard are not working in Air RB due to described handicaps consider jstick. There are also several threads dealing with joystick settings and possible advantages and proven disadvantages of using a jstick vs mouse aim. You have 40% in RB which is a bit below...not sure if you are using a bad nation/BR combo... All nations are good at some BRs and "less good" at others. I haven't played planes for some time...but when i did, there were differences between playing styles that made me choose the nation. USSR was a good nation as it had a mix of manouverable (Yaks) and performance (Laggs, Migs) planes...not so good on bombers... All other nations have such "balances"...you can't go wrong with any of the main ones (USA, URSS, Germany, Britain)...and it depends on what type of planes you prefer...although many nations change "style" as you go up the trees... 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
