Cannot launch a custom made map - All Battle Servers are busy.

I don't get this message when launching default maps or play normal battles. It only comes up when I try to launch a custom made map and it's fairly inconsistent. Sometimes it does not appear at all, sometimes it will allow you to run the map when you bash the ok buttlon 30-50 times, and sometimes like today it just won't budge and it's not just the maps you created today but the maps that worked yesterday. I do not know if there is a correlation between number of people online, sometimes custom maps run at user peak of 150K but do not want to start when it's 88K. So what exactly is going on here? is it possible that servers really are busy and custom battles are just at the back end of the queue? or is it related to the custom maps themselves?  It makes running player events very difficult when you cannot rely on the ability to even start a custom made battle.

 

Any info on this is greatly appreciated.

last time i checked custom battles were hosted on (completely) different servers than live battles...

assuming this is still the case those servers may have a (way) lower battle limit they can host at the same time than the regular live servers.

 

when this happens you could try a different server region (though this may / will cause a higher latency ofc)

Thank you for shedding some light on it. i'll take latency over being stuck in the lobby any day. So if i allow all servers it might mitigate the issue a bit. Will try.

Update: no change -can't launch a single custom made map. Default maps are working fine though in CB.

I have that issue on occasion as well, I am in the US but sometimes have to settle on RU or SA servers if not the EU servers in order to host a custom battle. Sometimes I find waiting 10-15 minutes allows for some openings on the US servers to open.

I also have the same issue. Unable to launch my own custom map because it just keeps saying the same message. Same goes for other servers as well except for RU. And I really do not want to play in a RU server due to my ping is significantly more higher than any of the three servers (around 350-670 ping and constant increase of packet loss)
