US is good for earning SL with Naval, especially if you have premium and or buy one of the premiums (knox or moffet)

Well...i had 4million SL a year back...now i have only 2million.

I make SL every time i play as i have autorepair off and i let vehicles repair over time, just not SL enough for my progress "expenses".

I would obviously prefer better SL earnings...i do get Freemium games have a point at which you need either SKILL, TIME or MONEY to keep progressing...so i play what i can and have fun there. Am spading all my stuff, including lots lower level vehicles i "bypassed". Then i will have some nations i never played...after that, not sure...but i have several months of playing ahead, so not worried.

 

I PERSONALLY believe the SL income should be better...better yet, the SL costs of some stuff (ammo at higher BRs for instance) be lower...BUT it may be me that simply don't play enough...

I also think REPAIR TIMES (or COSTS) get too high at higher BRs...but i don't see lack of players, so i guess it is a limited issue...

I bought all vehicles i unlocked. Idea of the game is to have and play lots of vehicles...so i buy all the ones i get (so far).

I did NOT expert all the crews. As someone said above, if you are not going to use the vehicle, you dont need expert crews

 

The progress becomes more expensive (in terms of SL) as you move forward...better players than me can still play for free and earn SL above RANK 4, so it is NOT impossible nor a "hard" limit.

If you reach a point where your skill/time is not enough...then you have the option to play lower BRs, either on the nations you have researched or in new nations.

 

The "trick" is to have fun...as long as i have fun playing i will keep playing...i would prefer to keep improving my favourite nations up to the modern era...but as i cannot do it, i opt to improve other nations up to my "limit".

 

BTW...i find that i can improve and play regularly at least ONE nation up to the modern era...but repair times are long, so i play other nations while i wait...

As a side example. I bought and experted Onto recently (called M50 i think). I played with it a few times and it is a different vehicle. After a while i grew "bored" of its specifics and vulnerability, so i now rarely play it...

I consider it was WORTH IT to buy it and test it...had fun on some games and i now know what it is so i know how to fight versus it...and i have it to play if and when i want.

I just regret having EXPERTED the crew...as it was expensive and will not be used much...

1.0 is too low, that's reserves for when you really have no SL whatsoever to even repair, if you ever get that low.

 

Or play 2.0, currently I'm having lots of fun with my french P-40 downtiered to 2.0, if you're not uptiered you can get very good games

US, F6F-5 and/or F4U-1D so it's tier 3 and viable for daily/special tasks and wagers, then A-20G-25, A-36, fill the rest of your slots with F4F, F4U, P-40, P-38... whatever you got, the more, the merrier.

run premium and run any of the premium ships, like moffet or frank knox for US, z47 for GE, yubari for japan etc...  if you check out youtube you can find reviews of the trees and suggested ships to buy

You will never be able to make enough SL. Boosters like +300%,+500% etc will help. Use these boosters in PvE and youll walk out usually with usually 250-500k in silver lions but remember the booster only works for the first 30 minutes of a match.

 

I earned 1 million silver lions in 2 PvE helicopter battles using a booster.

 

That being said the SL sink gets higher I have a premium account and run premium vehicles in most of my lineups BUT, I have 4 rank 6 vehicles currently unlocked and not purchased because its over 2 million with a 5th about to be unlocked. Gaijin usually does a 50% sale so I'll purchase them then. I did this before with my Russian rank 7, almost all of them were purchased at 50% off.

 

There no free pass, there is no substitute for time. I track my own statistics on the side as an example since February 8th I have played 82 battles at 11.3 with no premium vehicles and won 70%. I earn an average of 8500SL per 11.3 match. This tells me that in order to buy another rank 7 vehicle and crew it, it will take 140 battles. The only way to speed this up is play a different BR that costs less or play a premium vehicle.

 

Figure out what you average earnings are per match and then use that to understand how long it will take.

You've actually gotten a lot of help so far here. Here's my assessment.

You've blown past every plane that could help you learn to play effectively. And this has led to your SL problem. There is no fix for that problem if you are unwilling to go down in BR and learn how to make SL. Using an F-80 to research more jets isn't going to help you. It's going to leave you as frustrated as you already are or more so. Step back, take a breath and go spade out those unspaded planes and learn how to play effectively.

This isn't a race. There are lots of very good planes you've bypassed on your quest to reach the top and make you plenty of SL along the way. Or you can ignore anything anyone else has said in this thread, continue your race to the top and keep complaining about how you have no SL.

It won't matter what jets you've researched, how good or bad they are, or any tips good or bad, you won't have the SL to enjoy them anyway.

Battle Pass Second best option is misleading fist you need to have a lot of rank III and up to do it and in every game mode Tank - Planes - Coastal and Blue Water for new players is not good option at all you will play all over the place and get frustrated with the game even loosing SL trying to unlock Vehicles to do missions.

 

1 join Squadron that have Discord try to speak to other Veteran players knowledge is power they will explain and help you a lot

2 try to check Wagers

3 Don't buy every think you unlock wait for discounts at high BR,s

4 stick to middle low BR

5 if you get battle pass meaning purchase it in the way try to go up 125 to get coupons if keep the vehicles next battle pass will be free

6 Events if you get your hand on Vehicle from Even you can sell it and get Premium Account again buy it on Discount preferable 1 year

7 Battle Pass shop at level VI you can enhance your war bonds for vehicles ships planes buy them whatever you play  right now have 2x rank III Vehicles XP-50 and KV-2 for Germany
