Unguided Rocket Sight

I don't know if there is anyone else with the same problem but my question is this.  When you fly at low altitude at high speed, in third-person mode when approaching, the sight of unguided missiles is not in the middle of the screen, as is customary in most cases, but at the very top and the camera looks down and does not allow you to examine the horizon.  In fact, this makes it very difficult to detect targets.  Is this really how it should be or is it just me?
