sales When is the next War Thunder Sales?

Hey guys,

I hope everyone is doing well, this is literally my first post on this forum ever. I was wondering when the next Sale will be, I'm looking to buy GE so I wanna buy them at discount.. 

So does anyone have any idea when is the closest upcoming sale?

Russian Victory Day I think,May 9th,The discount will start a few days before this date

I think the sales are now just Spring / May sales, so as to include the defeated countries in the sales as well, and now Victory Day only has some associated events and small prizes. 

 

Also, do Golden Eagles even go on sale anymore?

GE never went on discount but rather the stuff you buy with them goes on discount. Typically after the GE vehicles discount is over, the pack discounts starts.

May typically has a 30% GE discount on any vehicle in game for longer than 6 months and November has a 50% discount which is followed by another 50% discount in late December.
Real winners buy discounted vehicle packs in November and then spend the GE they get with it on 50% discounts in December

Really? Guess not in the last 3 or so years since I picked up WT again.
I guess someone first posting on the forums with 400ish battles also wasn't around then.

True. But Gaijin used to be much more generous in various aspects of the economy, such a free GE events, GE discounts, discounts on crew training, discounts on RP GE conversion, etc., so maybe word went around or he's an older player with a new account. 

 

But he probably meant that he wants to buy GE so he can use it when GE vehicles are on sale.

There were GE sales some years ago, I know cause I was a PS4 player then and the sale was only available in Gaijin Store to PC players, so I missed it myself. But they seem to have stopped doing them since. You can always get the GE on packs on sale and wait for the next GE vehicles sale but sometimes it takes several months.

I can only remember crew skills being discounted one time in my 9 years here. It was right I had started, so the Apr/May sale period most likely, as I had started in Feb. on the 16th. It was literally one of the first things that I purchased GE's to get back when I was very new here. That is also when I began using premium time on my account, which really sped up the process for only 5 nations & just planes at the time.

I think the closest thing you will see to a GE sale is that from time to time there is a promotional offer through Razer where you can use Razer payment to get an extra boosted amount for the same price.

 

They don't discount the price per se but you do get a little extra for the same price. I think its been 10% sometimes and 5% other times.

There are a tiny 3% discount on vehicle packs when you follow a link of certain youtubers.  Only way to get discount on new packs.
