Hello everyone. I hope you're doing well .

 

Today I'm going to show you my decals catalog for War Thunder. I've been working on it for months. I know it's not perfect, still work in progress. And I'm counting for your help in solving some mysteries, a lot is still missing and I'm sure I made some mistakes. If you know/see anything please let me know .

 

The catalog is in 2 versions - 1) decals sorted by release date 2) the real catalog. If you want you can make a copy and make your own catalogs.

How can you help?

First of all you can give some information about missing decals or mistakes in the catalog.

Secondly you can provide screenshots of decals that pictures are missing. I can't find them anywhere.

Finally if you know anything about DMM or Taiwan exclusive decals please let me know.

The snowflake decals were part of a winter event with steam a long while back.

@JohnTitor71910 Hello. Good work. Do you have this collection of decals in full? Do you know if you buy a t 62 in a gaijn store, will you get a decal "545"? And what were the decals issued for the Chinese T 34-85 and IS 2 and is it possible to get them now when buying them for GE?

That's what I'd like to know too. I know that now they are permament part of the camo. Not sure if you get separate decals too.

I don't know about the chinese vehicles, but I still recieved the "revenge for the hero brother" and "k230" decals for buying the IS-2 Revenge and T-34-85E, respectively.

 

This was about a year ago.

It's my pleasure to announce that alpha stage is officially finished. There is a few dozens of declas that don't have pictures, I can't find them anywhere. Mostly they are premium vehicles decals. If you have them please make a screenshot and include it in this topic .

And I am not sure about Friday 13th decal that was able to get in one of Friday 13th events. Is it somethinf new or an insciption that we already had in the game before?

 

Now it's time fo Beta Stage. In this stage I will focus on DMM and Taiwanese exclusive decals. Wish me luck!

Hi there,

Nice job you've done here but I have one minor thing to point out:

In the Czechoslovak section - Ground forces, there are these 4 decals. However, while description of the decal with the white lion is OK (1. Československá samostatná obrněná brigáda AKA 1st Czechoslovak Independent Armoured Brigade Group, the inscriptions (Jánošík, Lidice, Žižka) belong to the 1. Československá samostatná tanková brigáda AKA 1st Czechoslovak Independent Tank Brigade.

The difference is that the armoured brigade was in the UK, while the tank brigade was in the USSR. I know, it's just a small detail but those are two different units and IMHO should be corrected...

The Snowflake decals were not a Steam "exclusive" tho, as I earned them all but they were later removed, not sure why. But decals do come & go now & then. They pulled the Piccadilly Lily decal and then put it back in later. 1 decal would not be a big deal, except in this case, I had that decal on every single British plane that I have . . . lol, putting them all back, one at a time was . .  ..  time consuming . . .

I have the Chinese T-62, but I do not have said 545 decal, it doesn't list it in the preorder either, so I suspect it does not exist as a placeable. It appears to me that some older ones also got removed, like the white cross from the German Churchill. I personally have that as a separate decal, but I heard if you buy that vehicle now you don't get it. For example I own the soviet Panzer III, but I do not have the hammer and sickle decal on it, which to my knowledge used to be an unlockable you got from purchasing it.

I will try to look for some of the missing decals. Found the USSR Air decal: "Saint George" emblem, from the forum if this is the right one you wanted:

 

 

Found some additional ones you needed. If it's not the correct Red Dragon, do tell, there is another one. I also presume the flag is the one you mean by Karl Galster.

Yep, some older decals obtainable with premium vehicles have become part of the vehicles camos and no longer come as individual decals. Those, who bought the vehicles before the change, kept the decals as individual and can use them as any other decal in game. Those, who bought the vehicles after the change, can't get the decals anymore...

The problem with DMM decals is that they have watermarks and I don't know how to remove them .

So this should cover 29 GvIAP, 510th Heavy Panzer, and the Tengu. I also added the 2nd Red Dragon decal I previously mentioned. And I hope this is the decal you meant with 300th Luftwaffe (Wilde Sau).

British Bulldog added. I started working on DMM decals and.. there's one tricky part in it. They are easy to find, but it's hjard to find them in good quality. Now I've been looking for these Strike Witches decals.

The time has come . I added taiwanese exclusive decals I know about and catalog is officially released.

 

But it's not the end of this journey. I added a bunch of decals I know nothing about in the first post. They are in the files, some of them are chinese exclusives I believe. Please check it and let me know what you know about them .

It seems you are missing these decals which can be obtained through this season's warbond shop. Or I just wasn't able to find them in the caralog. Anyways I hope you find this helpful.
