Guys, keep it on topic. I know that this will stay as a rather volitile topic for the foreseeable future however do keep politics out of it. So far most of you guys have been keeping this suggestion on-topic, please keep it that way. I also cleaned up some of the off-topic stuff.

Would this addition also add ammo capacity for loose (improper storage in the hull/turret) and the turrets becoming part of the strategic rocket forces most of the time to the Russian tanks?

Some vehicles yes :lol2:

How about expanding the topic and adding a branch of possible helicopters and planes. Or do you need to create a separate topic for each class of equipment?
Of course, there are not so many options, but we can assume which aircraft and helicopters could be transferred, as well as mention the aircraft that were considered as a possible option for updating the fleet (similar to the Swedish T-80 and Mi-28). The choice was between the F-16 and the JAS 39 Gripen. And among the helicopters, one can recall the Mi-24 Superhind Mk. III and Mk. IV which were modernized by the Ukrainian enterprises Aviakon and Luch. (Also, without going into politics, there was a captured Ka-52 in a damaged condition, which theoretically could be repaired and have a Ukrainian-made engine / weapon)

Unfortunately doing an aircraft/helicopter tree requires a new suggestion in the following links:

I did touch up on aircraft/helicopters/coastal in the beginning of the post. Feel free to create a suggestion on them if you want. I'm not as knowledgeable on aircraft/helicopters.

Thanks for the feedback :salute:

Love the idea and unique indigenous upgrades proposed. I could see it being an incredibly well equipped tech tree if it were alongside Polish, Azeri and Georgian vehicles.

It`s you on pp?

I voted no. I don't think there's enough unique vehicles (Mostly at lower ranks) to justify a standalone tree. Making a combined east european tree could be an option though (you already got some Georgian and Turkish vehicles in this suggestion). Would allow us some of the pre/early war Polish and Czech tanks for the low ranks and we'd get a tree with all the unique vehicles mixing eastern and western influence

Why should Poland and Czechoslovakia get combined into one tree if they are both more than capable of being independent trees

New update, if this does occur, it will be added to the honorable mentions/future additions tab of the suggestion. Reports are coming in that White House officials may send Bradley IFV’s to the UAF. I’m not sure what model, some options are M2A2 ODS, M2A3 Bradley, or M3A3 Bradley.

NATO support could certainly help at these <9.3 BR, as these BR’s barely have anything truly flavorful for the tree.

It would at least spice things up a bit, rather than having a load of the same vehicles before getting to the good stuff.

Would these Bradleys be armed with the top attack TOWS or with regular ones tho?

Currently looking like there would be a couple dozen T-64, T-72, T-80, and T-90 variants at top tier between captured, donated, domestic, and upgraded units. Oh and of course the mighty T-62s that Russia is reactivating…

and that’s before any potential Leopards, Abrams, etc

Just Polish donations would be a good start for a Polish TT.

No idea, I would say likely both TOW-2A’s and TOW-2B’s because the U.S. has already given Ukraine top-attack capable Javelins. No source specially states what missiles they were given, just that they were given TOW missiles from current U.S. stocks.

There’s quite a few high ranked vehicles and I’ve been trying to tame it lol. :D

Edit: Captured vehicles are a no go for the time.

Well remove the T-90s then…

Still would be basically an Eastern European sub tree as many of UA’s neighbors have had their tank fleets go into retirement north of the Black Sea…

It’s just for the sake of keeping the conflict out of the suggestion and another reason why I kept donated vehicles off to the side for the time being.

What’s the fun in that? :)

Making stuff spicy is pretty fun…:shturm_light:

…but for now, I may add donated vehicles to the tree or create two trees in this suggestion, one containing donated vehicles and the other being the one I already have and giving people the choice what they want.

Honestly ukraine should get it's own tech tree as seeing the BTR-4E, a Ukrainian BMP-1 and BMP-2 that isn't in the russian tree would be refreshing, not to mention the T-80UDK and T-84, along with the many other tanks that Ukraine had and has in it's arsenal, not to mention seeing a BTR-80 and 82 varients being added would be really cool. Plus having more IFV's would be refreshing as most tech trees are dominated by MBT's and Missile carrier platforms.

They do have a long history of tanks anyway, from the T-64 varients such as the T-64A to the T-64E and so on. Plus they can add the BM-21 and different SPG's that ukraine has. On top of that, I think it would be great if warthunder had more MLRS platforms added, as well as SPG's performing like their real life counter parts by having indirect fire capabilities. Now this can be done by adding a new shell type for it, idk just an idea. But I think with more MLRS and SPG platforms Gaijin can freely add a lot more vehicles into the game without there being a bottleneck in creativity.

Your Logic is unclear-if the developers do not want to add a Soviet branch to the game-the BTR ....then why, for example, the Russian BTR-82AT-should be added to this branch? ... by what criteria?...:dntknw:
