Heli wants to go backwards

This is with all helicopters I just chose to do the Swedish one I use.

 

Any time I try to fly a heli it just wants to fly backward and do a flip, from what I can tell all my binds are fine. the mouse does not control the heli in any way. And the only way to get the heli to pitch forward is to use W. Tested for relative control being off and on, both ended in the same thing.

I just did a test flight, no backflip for me. Used simplified controls and (I think) standard keybindings.

Try to unbind Page UP and Page DOWN from the Hover Height controls 

Go to Controls  → Helicopter → Instructor → Autocontrol of engine and switch it ON, let me know if it fixes the issue

It's really strange cause I don't see anything wrong on your Controls end but we can try this:

You can export your controls.blk file to a safe folder and keep it as a copy and then import mine controls.blk
Try if using mine fixes the issue.

You can Export and Import your controls.blk file from in-game

will this just affect my heli controls or change everything to yours? idrc just wanna know what i need to screenshot

It will affect all controls not just the Helicopter section but If before importing my file you export yours in one of your folders you can allways import it back with all your old controls, so remember to export yours and store it somewhere in case my file doesn't fixes the issue just so you can go back to it.

It's a good way to test if the issue is on your controls set up or something more serious.

Ok that seems to of fixed it, but now i need to figure out what caused it. also happens again when i go back to my settings

You can allways keep my controls set up and change all other controls as you like instead of reverting to the old file

If I had to guess the issue on your old file was originated on your first Control Setup WIzard's controller layout configuration

If I had to guess the issue on your old file was originated on your first Control Setup WIzard's controller layout configuration

 

If my guess is right you'll probably have to use customize my file and scrap your old one, anyway glad I could help.

Unfortunately changing the Control Setup WIzard layout on your old file would reset all controls back to default so it would be pretty much pointless.
