Rewards for Premium players in Custom Battles?

Hello, I just bought a premium airplane, but I can't use it in Air Assault because after I bought it I found out they blocked bombers from that mode. So I do not like PVP at all and I'm wondering if I can use this bomber in custom battles against AI and still gain rewards (Research points and Lions). 

 

I found this: Steam Link but the information was written in 2014. Can anyone confirm if we still get custom battle rewards if we are premium players?

 

UPDATE: I finally downloaded the whole game, got premium and then tried a custom battle out, and I didn't get any rewards as premium. I wish we did, not everyone wants to PVP. There are certain percentage of players that rather play against AI than players, we all put in the same time as PVP players but we get no rewards or compensation for the time being spent playing the game. While PVP players get rewards, yet both types of players put in the same time in the game. I wouldn't mind if the rewards for custom battles are 50% or even 25% of what we get for PVP, just as long as we get something for the TIME being spent playing this game.

 

I'm sure the developers are aware of this but why would the change it, forcing players to PVP probably makes them more cash.

You could try air realistic. With a bomber, it is quite a bit like a PVP mode and you get way better rewards than from Assault.

War thunder is quite a pvp focused game, sorry if it's not what you were expecting.

The issue with putting rewards in custom battles is that custom battles can be modded, for example, spawning large amounts of ai tanks in front of a player who has infinite ammo and reduced reload speed, allowing you to grind easily, making it unfair.

Also, custom battles is an environment where players can test vehicles and loadouts without having to spend anything on ammo refills or repair costs. Meaning that you could grind with no risk.

Lastly, if it was a premium reward, it would also put an unfair bias to those who choose to spend money on the game, giving them an unfair advantage to make money with no risk, where f2p players wouldn't.

 

I understand your frustrations with pvp and preferring to play bombers, as well as with assault arcade, but assault arcade is also a mode for fighters. I think the sort of gamemode you'd be looking for is helicopter PvE, however this is unfortunately locked behind high tier. 

I think you should take Dodo's suggestion and try air RB, and staying out of the way of enemy fighters to avoid pvp, you can do this by climbing and maintaining altitude, I get this was posted a while ago but I hope this helps anyone reading in future.
