There is point based matchmaking --> if you have higher points you fight oppenents at your rating area.

Thats probably a personal opinion.

Youre right there, but this time it didnt matter, because Char, Type and XM-803 where lol-pen. Only T44 sucked for people that didnt had it.

Nope, probably your Internet. I had like 2 games where i landed on US servers with like 110 -190 ping. Rest of my games always had like 20-50 ping with PL of 0 %

The ticket bleed is for presuring your opponent. Without the cap you would watch each other 15 min till someone tries something and dies pushing (time was a bit longer than normal tournaments which have a time of 15 min)

Personal Opinion, but dude if you want to camp play customs. This mode isnt meant that you can just camp in the corner of the map and wait till someone crosses. Also with your opinion to remove the cap, it would just make the games hide n seek.

Fun to kill time. Same issues, as always.

 

-Allowing squads to face unsquadded people is dumb

-SB controls in RB is still dumb and unfair to people unfamiliar with it.

-Maybe it's just me, but the spawning distance between people now feels way too short in air duels. Haven't dueled since 201X so not sure if this is something that has been used in TSS before.

-Allowing smurfs is dumb for people trying to climb. Yeah, I know, it would be hard to stop it, but idk, feels unfair for those who are struggling to get top 100.

-I think MMR got reseted after each "season"? Ended up with 1700 something points on the first "leg" with the T44 and ended up facing people with low points at the start of the XM-803 window.

-Some sides are stronger than the other in ground, not really fixable, just a thought.

-Artillery keeps the games spicy, but still not fair to lose or win games because of something random like it. Debatable.

-Maybe add server picks? I was having issues with EU server one night (some cluster ***** up or something, I would be fine 1 game and then 40% PL the next) so it would've been really nice to only pick US for that time being (also it would be nice not to play every game with 250 ping).

-Bring WWM back so we have something to do with a lot of people lol.

Event was decent, hopefully SB (Simulator Battles) will be represented in the future. I also think the "season" lasting 4 days was redundant. I observed multiple players only fly the last aircraft(P-51D-30) where the ELO ratings were almost maxed, and place top 20/30 in LB's. Yes, their skill placed them there, but what was the purpose of having 4 aircraft in the event if 75% could be skipped. Perhaps remove the "season" philosophy and consolidate to 1 or 2 day events with 1 or 2 aircraft. The only benefit of the longer season I could see, was less leaderboard volatility, but this could be checked by reducing amount of games one may participate in.

Overall though I enjoyed the event, and enjoyed the duels with fellow pilots.

I mostly played the ground battles, which overall I found enjoyable, however for a next tournament, a couple things need to be adressed:

 

For ground battles

1. The use of decorators/bushes

Being able to place decorators only on tanks you own is unfair for competition who has not researched those vehicles or has access to bushes etc.

Bushes obscure weakspots and the general 
 

2. The maps chosen

Sinai and Normandy both are okay maps for the 2v2 mode, but it is for the better if the Advance to the Rhine map is not included in following tournaments. The fact that players are able to shoot through the stone buildings adds another factor of 'sweatyness' which is not needed. Together with the inconsistency of some walls not being 'wallbang-able', this makes for a almost cheater like playfield where players will just click at nametags through buildings.

 

3. Artillery 

I think this element of RNG needs to be reworked in this tournament style, since less RNG is desirable in competitive modes. Something along the lines of what we had in the Battle Royale mode would maybe be better suited.

3. Clarification of rewards/leaderboards

For me and other players it was hard to find out when we would receive the rewards, so some more clarifications on the 'daily' leaderboard and the season leaderboard would be nice.

 

4. Insight of season elo calculation

The season elo calculation is vague, I can't figure out which factors play roles, since it doesn't seem to be the average elo of the 2 days. Some more clarification would help us understand how to get the highest place. 

 

Also can someone remind me when the rewards are distributed? ty

No there isn't, again, you could have 1700 points and fight against people in top 10 that had over 2200, or be in top 10 and fight against legit level 10s that had none, this isn't "your rating area"

Ah yes, the great argument of "if you played tournaments", which completely justifies how you can shot thru buildings on Rhine thanks to the arcade markers, which obviously is completly fair considering on one side u can immediately get on rubble and shot other people.

How does enjoyment factor change the fact that T-44 or XM-803 were trolly as hell, and Char and Type 74 were glass cannons?

Thru all over 100 matches i played i had a stable ping or around 30-40 and packet loss o 0-2%, so no, it isn't my internet fault

Ticket bleed from wasn't big enough to pressure anyone, you had to procrastinate extensively to be punished by it, and even if u lost the point early recapping it wasn't a problem.

Irrelevant, the tests are for as the name suggests, TESTING, as such i provide my experience from the test, it in no way defeats my point of no rewards for individual matches, not even a small amount of silver lions, or the fact that leaderboard system that you can fall out of if u don't have enough time is outright bad for ranked modes.

For your information i hate campers and that's why i want the arcade markers in 3rd or 1st person removed, i don't want the map markers to be removed, the in person ones only benefited campers that sit in one broken spot and shoot yo thru 4 buildings into your spawn or any other bs that's associated with them. Not to mention how flawed that marking system is and how it often didn't work as it should. 
So maybe don't try to assume my gameplay preferences when u have no idea what they could be.

Still waiting for my top 100 reward to arrive, said they would appear on the 10th at 08:00 but I haven't heard anyone getting theirs yet.

 

Edit: Just got top 1000 reward, no gladiators decal despite the rewards page for the air ranked mode showing I was placing 65th with 1 minute to go and on course for the reward... very miffed.

As some people have complained about alt accounts of people that duel a lot taking up places in the top 100 and thus "denying" others the top 100 rewards I'd like to suggest an idea that somewhat mitigates that issue (since we all know that you won't be able to get 100% rid of alts no matter what); put in a "store" similar to the warbond shop that's already in game that contains the prices, and reward currency based on the player placements. 

The currency should be rewarded in a way that allows someone that finishes in say the top 10 (or top 100 or whatever) for the specific season (as I assume the rankings mode will be seasonal) to get all possible rewards, and then the lower you place the rewarded currency should drop off, and none should be rewarded after a certain placement (e.g. top 1000). 
That way someone that placed say 101st  and (using the current rewards as example) only really wanted that gladiators decal badly can choose to not get the title but still get the decal, because they would still be rewarded plenty currency for one of the rewards, just not enough for both of them. 

This should also kind of cut down incentive for people paying good duelists to play on their account for the reward a bit.

Obviously with now just the title and the gladiators decal being rewarded thats kind of silly, but for the future with more/ more valuable prices I think that might be a good way to prevent people from a situation where they drop to place 101 and get basically nothing because someone has 5 alt accounts in the top 100.

Obviously this DOES lower the "uniqueness" of the top reward a bit; say future rewards are a unique vehicle camouflage, a decal, and a title if someone chose to not want the title, nor the decal, they could get the camouflage at a significantly lower placement, and thus making that camouflage more common (e.g. instead of the top 100, the top 150 people could get the camouflage if they decide to not get the decal) but I think thats justifyable given how many people actually put alt accounts in the top 100 that I know of (let alone ones that I dont know) and thus how many people that actively tried getting the decal didn't get it (I personally dont give a **** but theres definitely people that care).

I also particiapated in the event placing about 800ish but still waiting for it. I´m slowly losing hope about me actually getting it...

I can say i would like to see a ranking system in the game that can highlight in player profile how good he is in aviation or ground etc.. looking fordward for this one intersting !
