You can choose custom difficulty, load the RB or SB preset, disable the G-lock and then start the test flight.

We can disable G-lock ???

First news, i didn't knew that.

However, since the problem in Normal Gamemodes, i do use the normal mode to see what can do the aircraft.

But thanks.

Normal gamemode?

What do you mean?

Custom difficulty can literally be AB, RB or SB, but with one or two options disabled and they don't change the physics, so to test or even make bug report I usually just load the RB preset, then disable the G-locking (you still get the black screen, but it doesn't lock your controls). The option has been available probably since the open beta and looks like literally no one noticed that it's there.

Its there, I can confirm. When you are doing a test flight (mission editor in the bottom left) you can select a custom difficulty. One of the following screens will give you options to adjust one of them at the top is blackout/redouts toggle.

I'll have to check that out, this is the editor you can only use when you have the aircraft crewed right?

Does anyone have the documentation to bug-report the F-16A ADF into getting its appropriate A-G load outs?

That was a balancing decision, Gaijin is already aware that it can have everything the other model has.

More a grind decision, if the ADF got it's historic loadouts the second F-16A Block 10 would have no reason to exist in game.

Although it already has little reason to exist already bar being a RP and SL sink, its gaijin being predatory again which is disappointing making players grind functionally the same aircraft a second time to unlock the other 50% of their payload options.

Not even mentioning that the other offerings in other trees like the MLU should have vastly more modern A2G options but they dont.

I feel like the Blck 15 should at least have recieved dumb bombs, in order to be used in A2G.

I am aware, bug report inbound.

DM a tech mod first, ask them about it. If they say to go ahead with bug report then you can waste your time but I think this is a set and done developers decision.

Is the iris t the next step after aim 9M?

AIM-9X first, IRIS-T would be for European aircraft (some of which also used AIM-9X).

Ah aim 9X, is it being used by all modern US fighters? Also is Americans not using iris t?

AIM-9X is indeed used by all modern US fighter aircraft. We do not use the IRIS-T, but it is compatible with our AIM-9 launch rail.

I know next to nothing about pretty much anything but looking at the pro/con lists of both of the F-16's wiki pages (https://wiki.warthunder.com/F-16A_ADF#Pros_and_cons and https://wiki.warthunder.com/F-16A#Pros_and_cons) doesn't seem to promising as far as what the last 999 pages of this thread have been mostly about. Or am I reading it wrong?

Anyone know how different the F-16A ADF and F-16A Block-15 are?

What kind of radar does F-16A ADF have IRL? Is it AN/APG-66, AN/APG-66(V1), OR AN/APG-66(V2)?

And what kind of radar does F-16A ADF have in-game?

Check the first post of this thread.

ADF has a few difference from the block 15 (which is not in game we have the block 10).

The ADF should have the APG-66A aka - 66V1. Currently is has the exact same radar as all the other F-16s (basic APG-66).

The reason I was asking is that this manual states F-16A/B MLU (FACH Series) Block 10/15 have AN/APG-66(V2) installed. I don't know the differences of avionics on Block 15 regular, Block 15 MLU, and ADF.

On the other note, even this manual does not include the scanning speed in A-A mode (although it did state that in A-G mode targets take at least approximately 3 seconds to update), nor does it include any info on notch gates and specific conditions of detecting and tracking targets.

Do US manuals just not include this kind of info or is it just in a secret supplement?
