ldtorroc 1 Report post Posted May 14 Alright so im not sure if anyone else has noticed this or not but there is a problem with volumetric armor not working with the wedge of doom. at the vary nose of the tank there is two armor plates with should be meeting there. If you shoot head on and hit it on the nose, there is 0 armor where there is 2 40mm plates one at a 72 degree angel, and the other with curves over it and its thickness and degree very over it. This means that the volumetric armor is not taking in to account the two plates at this location and allowing shells to slip through it as if there was no armor there. This may not seem like a big deal, But this would prevent shells that should be stoped by the armor/engine from reaching the crew. This is true on the 0, a, and c variants each one has this issue with the modeling of the tank causing rounds with should be lessened or defeated to zip though the tank as if there is no armor there. Yep so it shows at that point it is 2mm of thickness. i can drag the pointer up and down that location and it can range from 0 to 200 as you move up or down. But there is a wide area with dose not match the armor values for that area.
