Ground vehicles

  • A bug has been fixed that prevents the maximum reverse speed stated in the manuals.
  • Vignette of the gun sight has been reduced for rank I-IV vehicles.
  • Centurion (all versions) — pivot radius has been reduced.
  • Type 87 RCV — sight magnification has been corrected from 2.7x-12.0x to х8
  • Jagdtiger — a bug has been fixed that prevents display of the armour values of the hull front upper and lower plates in the hangar.
  • LAV-AD — armour piercing capabilities of the М247 rockets have been corrected for angled hits.
  • Machbet — a bug has been fixed that prevents SAM launches when the commander is knocked out.
  • Merkava Mk.4B, Merkava Mk.4M — a bug has been fixed that disabled blowout panels of the ammo rack located behind the turret.
  • Merkava Mk.4B, Merkava Mk.4M — vertical targeting angles of the commander’s sight have been adjusted from -10…+20 to -20…+60 degrees; stabilisation of the commander’s sight has been added.
  • T-72M2 Moderna — armour description of the turret has been corrected in xray mode.
  • VT1-2, Begleitpanzer 57 — a bug has been fixed that prevented gun breech damage when the module in not shot through.
  • Zachlam Tager — moved to rank IV. Research, purchase, repair and crew training costs have been changed correspondingly, as well as other economic values.

Aircraft

  • MiG-23MLA — incorrect depletion order of countermeasures has been fixed, upper blocks now run first.
  • Kfir C.2, Kfir C.7 — countermeasure ammo in each block has been increased from 16 to 18.
  • Reset of the time fuse for bombs while changing game mode has been fixed.
  • F.C.20 Bis — missing description of rounds of the same type has been corrected for “Armoured targets” and “Aerial targets” belts.

Naval

  • PTF-7 — a bug has been fixed that prevented maximum speed declared in the operation manual.
  • HMS Cadiz — year of modification has been corrected

Other changes

  • You can now toggle the view of custom camos available on the Market in the vehicle customization menu. View offer displayed once for each camo, At the moment, the option is available for camos from the “Winds of change” trophy.
  • A bug has been fixed where mouse sensitivity increased after enabling the option “Fix gun direction in mouse view”.
  • Display of the grass at long distances has been improved (LOD settings have been corrected).
  • Missing highlights of the vehicles' outlines have been fixed for SB replays.
  • A bug has been fixed that disabled the “Invert axis” option for traverse and pitch axis on a weapon (report).
  • Vehicles from the latest game events ( Crafting event and the 5th season of the Battle Pass) that are available from the Market, have been added to the tech trees.

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

I've had “Fix gun direction in mouse view” turned ON before this update, but now my free look sensitivity is very slow.
(I was most likely accustom/used to the 'bugged' sensitivity).
Does anyone know, what my "Camera Mouse Look Speed" (or other setting?) should be set to, so that I can replicate or have the same sensitivity as before?

EDIT:

It seems like only my free look speed for ground vehicles has be effected, while my free look sensitivity for airplanes seems (feels) 'normal' as before.
Is there not a way to make the camera sensitivity different for ground and air?

Same here, I just went to the actual bind controls and inverted it there, don't change 'invert Y-axis' as that will also invert your flight camera/mouse movement.

I honestly don't know how several things broke trying to fix 1 problem (that to me atleast, I wasnt even aware of)

Please for can the team at Gaijin roll-back this update?
It has screwed over so many people's settings (and more complaints to come).

And do a proper revision of what they changed and how they effect settings.
Alot of people in this short time frame are already complaining about broken settings.

The magnification on the Type 87 RCV should be 1x-8x but because 1x magnification doesn`t get implemented in Warthunder it should honestly get the next best which is as far as I know would be 1.9x-8x magnification (instead of just fixed 8x). In my opinion no vehicle in the game should be nerfed more than needed because one stat is outside of Warthunder`s specification.

Ohhhhh, I just did a small ground battle and thought I messed up when nose-diving my Yak-3 straight down into the ground, thinking it was me because I was half-asleep... top kek.

Now this sounds ok as it would increase the FoV, but in the "It's fixed" article it sounds like they have changed the zoom to make it unhistorical, which would be dumb, and going against the historical premise of the technical side of the game. Zoom shouldn't be used for balance because that is an essential tool for the tactical experience of the real vehicle, with limited negative impact on being able to compete. Maybe the "It's fixed" article could be updated somewhat to clarify that.

 

Actually, the "It's fixed" article read a bit rougher, as if the person usually doing the translation was on holiday.

 I think that extra note about camos is really annoying... we can check them under customization... no need to double stuff...

Same, my sens in the look camera is slow af now too, and when I try to use it in the binoculars, they get jerked up/down.

Feels like they roll these out without even testing them, and with 0 consideration for the 1,000s of people that were playing the game just fine before their so-called "patch".

I think some of controls fixes has created a new and very annoying bug...

I use a lot the "Mouse look" (I bind it to RMB) and also the "Binoculars"; but now I note the following behavior when combining them...


The Mouse Look activation invert instantly the angular height in binocular view.

The effect that you are seeing is created by pressing and unpressing the RMB (Mouse look activation).

 

Switching from Mouse Look to Binoculars is right now horrible and confusing... and specially impossible if your are looking to the sky searching for enemy planes.

Someone else found the same bug?
