Ground vehicles

  • R-LAU — the armour penetration capability of the Cudgel-33A missile has been adjusted from 1800->1300mm. Source: “Official report for Military Imperium Council. Combat heavy vehicles. Book 1, Pg. 2325”.
  • Zachlam Tager — disappearing missiles have been fixed.
  • Т-72А, Т-72АВ TURMS-T, Т-72B, Т-72B 1989, Т-90А — armouring of the spare tracks has been adjusted from 30 → 20 mm.
  • Leopard 2A4, Leopard 2A5, Leopard 2A6, Leopard 2PL, Strv 121, Strv 122A, Strv 122B PLSS — targeting angles of the AA machine gun have been adjusted. The elevation angles in the right hemi-sphere have been increased from 20 to 75 degrees.
  • M60A1 (AOS), M60A1 RISE(P), M60A3 TTS, Magach 6A, M60A3 TTS(CN), M60A1 “D.C.Ariete” — a bug has been fixed that allowed the machine gun passing through elements of the turret.
  • M3 Bradley — localization of the TOW ATGM has been corrected.
  • M4 Sherman tanks — pivot radius has been reduced.

Aircraft/Helicopters 

  • Etendard IVM — a ballistic calculator for rockets has been added.
  • Saab A32A — incorrect naming in the modification of bombs has been corrected.
  • AB 205 A-1 — missed animation of the rotation of the minigun has been fixed.
  • AH-1G — missed animation of the rotation of the М195 gun has been fixed.
  • Saab JA-37, Saab AJ-37 - a bug has been fixed that caused an incorrect engine speed and available thrust.
  • Matra R530, Matra R530E — max launch range has been adjusted from 15km to 18km (report)

Naval

  • A bug has been fixed that caused overestimated prices on Soviet naval vessels for weapon presets with 45-36NU torpedoes.

Other changes

  • Parameters in AA guns of the helipads have been adjusted. The number of AA guns has been reduced from 4 to 2, AA guns now fire only warning shots dealing no damage; fire range has been reduced from 3,500 to 3,000 metres.
  • A low reward in Silver Lions has been added to the “Children of Arachis' ' mission for all actions in combat that are normally awarded in random battles.
  • A bug has been fixed where falling bushes from gun fire sounded like falling trees and caused clouds of dust.
  • Looped sound has been fixed in the boat tutorial mission.
  • A bug has been fixed that caused trees to appear on the airfield in the “Sicily” mission.
  • A bug has been fixed for some helicopters which caused ground vehicles to disappear in the sight camera on long distances

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

Hello, thank you for keeping the game updated!

 

I was wondering if there will be a fix for the sailing speed of most boats and ships in arcade naval? (this is the mode I play and where I noticed that most boats/ships are missing about 15-20% of their top speed. The actual max speed is lower then showed on the stat card and when you take the vehicle in a test drive it does reach the promised max speed. For example: The fastest boat the Pr.123K used to do 135km/h in arcade battles but now only does 116km/h max. I noticed this aroud the release of the Winds of change update.

I swear i don't understand why gaijin goes always all or nothing on patches, how hard is it to take an in between fix? What's even the point of those AAs if they're just fireworks now?

 

How can you guys not think of another, smarter fix like, you know   MAKING THE HELIPADS AAs ACTIVE ONLY WHEN THERE'S AN ACTUAL HELICOPTER SPAWNED?

This would:

- fix the annoying AAs bothering people dogfighting when there's no helicopters

- actually help helicopters defend themselves from aircrafts

- give a reason to the aircrafts to go an look for the helicopters that are mauling the ground forces so the AAs can be off again and they can dogfight with the other aircrafts

    RIP tanks,spaas and helicopters. Top tier tank battles are best mode for Jet players now.:lol2:

is this on RB or in Heli EC PVP/PVE or both? i find helipads AAs pretty weak right now.. you're making them even weaker now..

This is awesome! A bit odd that you decided to leave the AA there but do no damage, is that just so it's a warning system for helicopters? 

 

Also, for top tier sim you really need to not allow spawns on the close helipad, top tier helicopters can spawn and wipe out teams within 30/40 seconds of game start.

Why there is no ANY fix of PUMA? The WHOLE ammunition storage lost bc of ammo rack explosion in turret.

 

It's literally gamebreaking and critital bug, bc instead of loosing 100/200 ammo we are loosing ALL 400 which makes PUMA literally helpless.

So just to make sure there's no misunderstanding or spelling error the helipad AA is now purely cosmetic and does not do damage to any enemies no matter how long an aircraft stays in its firing range?

Most fixed sound good, but I have an issue with the helipad defence ones.

What does "warning fire that doesn't deal damage" mean? They are still shooting but you can ignore it now? Sounds very strange.

Don't get me wrong, I often was annoyed with the high range of the Helipad AAA fire, so I'm glad it doesn't reach so close to the battlefield anymore. But as someone who also sometimes flies out Helis in GRB I want at least a reasonable chance of finding cover at the Airport...especially in defenceless Helis like the Alouette II and especially my Bo 105 which is pretty much useless with a gunpod installed in the CAS role compared to other helis of that BR.

 

Why don't you shorten the range of the AAA and move the Helipads that are placed too close to the battlefield a bit. BUT leave the Helipad at least some reasonable defence! Give the Helipads AAA that is really powerful on short range and useless (or not attacking at all) at over 1 to 1.5km. Maybe something like an M163 with accurate aim.

So Helis have their Save Space :facepalm: :facepalm: close to the pad, but outside of that zone they have to take care of themselfes.
