What is the purpose of user pages?

What should i put in my user page, and are there any quality standards?

Hi!

 

You can essentially put whatever you like on your user page (as long as it doesn't break any game/forum/wiki/etc rules), to whatever quality standard you're personally happy with. Users seem to tend to use it to host WT-related personal projects that don't really fit in other channels such as the forums (or make use of the various wiki-related features such as tech trees), as well as just writing a bit about themselves.

User Pages Are Just That, UserPages, You Decide What You Throw On It (As Long As It's TOS Though).

I Initially Planned It Out As A Page To Describe A Bit About Myself, My Experience & Opinion Of The Game And/Or Vehicles I Enjoyed, But It Grew Into A Bigger Project Showing Potential Fan-Trees, Categorizing Vehicles By Standards The Regular Wiki Didn't Offer (Like Non-Playable Nation Countries Like Australia, Poland, Etc), Showing Off Vehicles In The Game That Aren't Accessible And So Forth.

My Personal Favourite Userpage, As @DnaGonite Already Linked Is This Page:

While War Thunder Wiki Is Mainly On Vehicles & Gameplay Around Them, With Historical Background Where Needed, AN_TRN_26's Userpage Fills In On The Aces Of Famous Planes, And It Just Fascinates Me.

I know this response is a couple of months after the fact, but user pages can be a fun touch which allows you to be creative. It also offers a place where you can work on testing out wiki code to see how things work before placing it on a vehicle page. The biggest thing is to have fun with it and create something you enjoy from it!

Thanks!! It is a work in progress, there are so many pilots out there that have many many interesting stories to share especially regarding aircraft we can fly in the game.
