magazine2 7,344 Report post Posted March 22 WELCOME to the War Thunder - Rumour Round-Up and Discussion thread! Here you can discuss everything related to the new update, including rumours, data mines, and dev blogs. Quote Hey lads! As of May 2022, the rumor roundup and future ones will now be maintained by @TheElite96, please poke him for any updates to be made to the main post. Cheers! However, please AVOID these types of discussions: Wishing for things. Some examples: "I hope for Mirage 2000 next update" "Gaijin where are these vehicles!!!" <lists 10 vehicles they want in the game> There's a separate thread for this here. Vehicle spec discussions, such as armour, ammo, ordnance, guns, data sheets, performance. Some examples: "I hope for these vehicles, they will balance the game. They have XYZ ordnance and will counter MiG-23!" 2 page discussions about what type of ammo a new tank in a dev blog will get. Now this is fine for the most part since a vehicle in the dev blog is part of the next update, however it can escalate into completely other discussions so do be careful! There's plenty of threads for these discussions here. Bug reports, issues, suggestions. Some examples: "Abrams is missing its thermals. However that's not meant to be as it had this historically. Smin fix this!!!" "I think that Challenger 3 would be a good addition to British Ground tree, here are the specs for it" You can make a bug report here and suggestion here. Not avoiding these example discussions will mean your post is likely to be hidden by a moderator. Any continuation after that might mean you get a warning. You must remember that this is the most popular and active thread on the forum. Its aim is to put all of the next update's information in one place so it can be discussed amongst the community. Other discussions like outlined in the examples above can be discussed in proper forum sections. Often official Gaijin members will respond on this thread so do be sure to remain respectful! Otherwise they may just stop. Please use the Wind of Change Thread to discuss Update "Wind of Change". Complaining here won't solve anything. FAQ Q: What is this thread about? A: This thread is about the upcoming patch and future content. Q: Will you add...? A: No. We are no developers, just nosy players. Q: Why isn't [vehicle] on the list? A: Either because there is no evidence that this vehicle will be added, or because no one told me that there is such evidence. Q: Why is [vehicle/feature] on the Denied list? A: Because said feature or vehicle was denied by Gaijin developers or their representatives at some point in the past. Q: Where did my post go? A: Off-Topic comments will often be hidden (not deleted) to keep this thread readable and on topic. No need to be alarmed or comment on the disappearing post(s), if concerned then PM Forum Moderators or Seniors. Q: When will we get the patch? A: Currently our best guess is sometime in May or June 2022. Q: What if I don't want to read all these pages to find out what will come? A: Read the OP. I and moderators will frequently update it with new information. List of stuff related to next update, what we know so far: This is the list of stuff we know has been confirmed, plausible, denied and also data mine related stuff to the next update. gszabi99_HUN 7,822 Report post Posted March 24 (edited) 2.15.0.3 → 2.15.0.13 changes (release): ISR tank CBT: new decal for 10 stars – "Merkava" decal CBT access for 12 stars 1 star for 5 ground wins 40 stars in total, starting from today until May 2nd Vostok launcher removed from hangar. (I guess they'll re-add it in two weeks) Translation changes in Spanish. New hotkey – Surveillance aircraft: catapult deactivation. New hints: Return at least one home sector in: {var} Hold all opponent's home sectors in: {var} New Liberation of European Town tank tutorial hints: Light class vehicles have increased mobility, but weak protection. It is most effective for fast maneuvers. The capture progress is faster if several vehicles of the same team are in the capture zone. If vehicles from both teams are in the capture zone, the capture process will be suspended. A heavy enemy tank is a serious threat to your vehicle. Find cover and wait for a better moment to attack. Most of the ground vehicle models have weaker armor in the side and rear projections. Vulnerable critical components such as ammo racks and fuel tanks are also located there. Destroy the enemy tank by shooting at the ammo rack located on the side of the tank. Self-propelled anti-aircraft (SPAA) vehicles are designed to destroy air targets. Covering allied ground vehicles from enemy aircrafts is an important task on the battlefield. Shooting at air targets at long range can be ineffective. Enemy aircrafts are most vulnerable when they attack ground targets. Wait until the enemy bombers are in the direct line of attack. Open fire! Heavy tanks have low mobility, but good armor and can withstand multiple hits, making them extremely effective in frontal attacks. Critical damage has been received, the gun is broken, the gunner has lost consciousness, firing is impossible! Find cover from enemy fire and repair damaged modules. When shooting at well-armored enemies, try to aim at weakly protected places. The ballistic marker will show the probability of penetration at the point of impact of your projectile in the corresponding color: Red – low penetration probability. Green – high. First you need to get out of the shelling by hiding behind cover. New Liberation of European Town tank tutorial objectives: Take the village Destroy enemy tanks Flank the enemy heavy tank Capture the zone by the church Repel the air attack Proceed to the streets of the village Eliminate the rest of the enemy forces get cover and repair damaged modules Engine model renamed – TF34-GE-100 → TF34-GE-100A. The_KOS 3 Report post Posted March 24 (edited) Can someone deny or confirm a mechanic, that I've just noticed: While driving a Begleitpanzer 57 with cruise control on, pressing "Handbrake", stopping, shooting ATGM and then shooting with a main gun, the vehicle resumes moving along with the cruise control. I haven't noticed it until now, trying the stabilizer and I'm suspecting it was added in this update. Feel free to correct me, thanks!
