Here is the fun part of the Type 10.

This thread is for collecting the issues of the new top tier MBT Type 10 so please try to not making any argument and if you can't resist, here is a thread for it.

With that out of the way feel free to post all other issues regarding this troublesome tank in here.

I'm honestly prefer to stay out of the classified information such as armor thickness, armor layouts etc i know many of us don't agree with the armor value gaijin has provided but please don't bring it up in here because it is usually causing unnecessary fight over it as we have already seen in the thread above so i'm asking you to please not do it here.

 

1) Side skirt.

19) AA machine gun mount is not modeled accurately to the real steel.

Because the MG mount is modeled wrong causing it to clipping with the gun when it is elevating. This is not the case for the MG mount on Type 16 & 90 because it is accurately made.

 

MG mount on the real Type 10 in the picture below.

Type 16 and Type 90 in the game is modeled accurately to this, so all they have to do is copy one of those models onto the Type 10 (and Type 74s) since these vehicles are shared the same gun mount.

Things that had been fixed so far since dev server:

1) Thermal for commander's optic.

2) Increased elevation for the M2 .50 cal AA MG.

3) Relocated of radio station.

4) Gunner's sight is no longer a periscope.

5) Internal amor is modeled in the Xray.

6) Relocated of commander position.

7) Driver's legs are no longer clipping through the composite armor.

8) Internal steel armor plates can now be hidden.

9) Blow out pannel should now preventing vehicle from exploding when ammunition get shot even if the bulkhead is not penetrated.

10) Hull tilt angles have been corrected while the suspension control is enabled. (See No. 3)

11) Pivot speed has been increased. (See No. 6)

12) Tray attached to the 50. cal mount no longer follow with the machine gun when elevating or depressing. (See No. 8)

13) A road wheel is now moving. (See No. 5)

14) Composite armor in the turret cheeks now covered slightly more area of the lower part.

15) '' fixed bug with rubber fabric shields hanging in the air, shown when steel side shields are damaged''.

I guess you could consider this reported by me because my report to extend all the composite LOS forward would fix this. I also have a similar report on the hull.

The only thing we know is that the bug report regarding this issue is approved.

 

If you did reports something for the Type 10 don't be shy and speak up  so i can give you the credit for it!

On visual issues the storage on side of turret are not actually fully connected to turret (you can see sky from under turret) and also have no texture on inside wall. I have made a report for it.

I have done two bug reports for rubber skirts one where they are solid objects,second those rubber skirts should be removable,thing is still waiting for approval.

The position of the fuel tank is incorrect.  According to the patent document submitted by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the inside of the lower frontal plate is an empty space for additional modules.

By attaching an armor module that protects the driver's feet to this space, can get the same protection as a turret.

Even gaijin see full document of Challenger 2 it still got leave as it is not to mention more classified tanks like type 10

that is the armor structure, If you read 請求項6, it says "The drone is mounted on the modular armor"

Some of the (low effort) visual stuff and any statistics that can be properly sourced; probably

 

Armour gaps, CVT and general mobility issues: probably not

This modular armor certainly cannot prevent 120mm APFSDS. This part is designed to be removed and replaced with another type of module. By installing additional armor (protection of the driver's feet), it will be possible to prevent 120 mm APFSDS with a 10-type lower frontal plate. However, the actual additional armor (protection of the driver's feet) is not disclosed, and it is not known how to actually attach it. I don't know if it looks different like challenger 2 or if it's a replacement part with the same shape as an existing module. There is a possibility that the upper frontal but also the lower frontal covered with an outer plate.

I spent 4 years bug reporting this game for a reason.

 

The problem is first of all this tank is super rushed (the whole update in general) and never should have been released this way and on top of it the vehicle was also realeased along side with a new tech tree so their priorities gone for the new tech tree mostly instead..

 

Bugs do get fixed if my previous fixed bug reports are anything to go by but how long will it take the developers to fix - is unpredictable..

 

Edit: most of bugs brought up here are mostly related to visual 3D model, xray module or mobility issues, these have nothing to do with the classified information.

I wonder what is the possibilty for the player to fix the model themselves ? A skin maker claimed that he can fix the missing mesh for the headlights if Gaijin give him access to the model itself.

That would be nice to see because it would really speed up the process of getting the visual things worked out.

Even if gaijin noticed it take too long to fix it Leclerc have a problem with armor still not getting fix but if any kind of problem exist on any Russian tanks they will react and fix it very fast (not more than 3 days) but if exist on any other nation it take week month or even year

did it go through the middle between the headlights? if so then what the actual xxxx did they do to it. the headlights don't have armor in-game because irl the box that holds the composite doesn't go over it.

 

also, where's all the documentation about the Type 10's mobility. especially that one comparing it to the Type 90, I'd really rather not look through all the pages of the Type 10 forum to find it.
