# Game version

My game version: (2.9.0.101)

# Description

The side-skirts of the E-100 are currently made out of rolled homogeneous armour, however, I have found a first hand source, which is a written down interrogation from the 28th May 1945 of Kurt Arnoldt, the chief technical engineer of the Henschel AFV research and experimental establishment at Haustenbeck, who states that these skirts were made out of cast homogeneous armour.

In the interrogation, Arnoldt remarks how the six castings for the side protection of the E-100 can be taken off for rail transport, confirming that the side-skirts were indeed made out of cast homogeneous armour.

Quote:

"The "E 100" was designed so that it could be transported by rail on special flats. It was to be equipped with railway loading tracks in addition to its battle tracks like the Tiger. The six massive castings for the protection of the hull sides could be removed quite easily and carried on the special flat. Part of the rear idler had also to be removed and stowed on the flat for travel."

# Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Observe the side-skirts of the E-100 of the current game-version, they are made out of RHA
