# Game version

2.9.0.52

# Description

Ammunition magazine on the Class 143A Fast Attack Craft
- in game it is modelled to hold 30 rounds each
- should be at least 160 rounds per magazine.

# Steps to reproduce the issue
Open X-Ray view and check the ammunition storage

# Additional Information

Both Class 143 boats have a front and rear ammunition storage, which hold less ammunition, than they should.
The "Freundeskreis 2. Schnellbootgeschwader", a website run by former men of the second FAC squadron has detailed information about the ammunition capacity.
During "normal service" each ammunition storage carried 160 rounds. The bow ammunition storage [Abt. IX] had a maximum capacity of 365 round and the stern storage [Abt. II] had a capacity of 440 rounds.
[as a side note the rear ammunition storage is modelled with 160 rounds]

So each storage should hold at least 160 rounds instead of the 30.

@elcee

Could you let me know specifically where was this paragraph quoted from?

Spoiler

Besides, Albatros in game has first-stage ammorack which contains 85 rounds for each turret:

That would add up the total ammo storage to 115 rounds per turret. Do you know if the first-stage ammo exist on this ship irl? If so, should it be 160 rounds in total per turret  (85 rounds read-use + 75 rounds in magazine), or 160 rounds in magazine per turret (that would be 160 rounds in magazine + 85 rounds ready-use, or 245 rounds in total per turret)?

The sources were actually included in the "source section at the end". Both were taken from the website https://www.freundeskreis-2schnellbootgeschwader.de , which is run by former servicemen of the second Squadron, that used this boats.

This was quoted from their section "Bewaffnung", 3rd Paragraph regarding the "Schnellfeuerkanone OTO-Melara 76 L62"

Translated into english, including comments in square brackets (most relevant part is bold):

Spoiler

Marked Paragrah translated:
On boats of the Albatross class two turrets, turret Alpha on the foredeck and turret Bravo on the aft, above the compartments II and IX [comment: this is a reference, where the turrets are located in the drawing]. The ammunition storages were in the compartments below, in which the switch cabinet, that controlled and monitored the turrets, and the so called "Racks", in which the ammunition was stored (in single transport cases). For normal on-board operation 160 rounds of sealed STAN ammunition were stored per ammunition storage. [comment: while it does not quote the ready rack size here, but still is more, than what Bussard and Albatross carry in game]
The ammunition storages had a maximum capacity of 805 rounds (Munk Alpha 365 rounds [comment: front turret] ; MunK Bravo 440 rounds [aft turret]
), they were temperature monitored and each had their own sea water fed sprinkler systems. The crew consisted of a "Turmführer" and two "Gasten", who were responsible for loading [comment: Turmführer and Gasten are ranks or positions]

The drawing Drawing is taken from the same website:
The text goes over the different boat compartments (in roman numbers); as mentioned in the Translation (see spoiler above). The relevant sections are "Abt II and Abt IX"
