Backup vehicles inaccessable/unavailable in rewards/shop


# Game version 2.9.0.26

# I have:

# Platform; PC

 

# Description

Since update backup vehicles have been unavailable in both inventory & WB shop. There is no activate button on the in-game prize backups within my inventory & double-clicking & right clicking yield no results either. All other appropriate prizes have the usual activate button.

The WB shop indicates a 42 day wait before i can purchase checked items again (It was 50 on day of update)

Hi,

   Are you sure that you have carried out the removal of the cache directory and the file integrity check as indicated in the template.  This should have corrected this issue.

I have no issue with this function at all.

I have done EVERYTHING correctly 3 times now. I have even uninstalled/reinstalled today, as the game somehow wiped all my control settings & wouldn't load saved .blk files. Still having the same problems with backups not being available or activate button missing.

This maybe an account issue.  You didn't used to have a PS4 or Xbox account did you?

Do you have any specialist key bindings that are not the defaults?  If so, goto > Controls > Export to file and Save them.

Please locate your config.blk file and save a backup copy of it.

Then can you please try the following.

 

1. Exit the game.

2. Using File Explorer/This PC - Locate the config.blk and delete it.  (This should be in the User folder (usually on C:)path 'should be' C:\Users\(yourcomputerloginnamehere)\AppData\Local\War Thunder) if this is not the case you will need to adjust the path or search it.

3. Please delete the warthunder.yup and the warthunder.old.yup files also in the War Thunder game folder 

4. Locate the War Thunder directory on your system.

5. Locate the 'cache' sub directory in the War Thunder directory and delete it.

6. Restart War Thunder via the game Launcher and allow game to update and analyze Files.

7. Enter Game and re-check for issue.

8. Let me know how it goes.

Hi,

   Did you actually look at my video about how to activate your Back ups? You have to assign them to an actual vehicle.
