Hi!

Thanks for the bug fixes.

The M47's report link is not accessible.

That change to the M47 series of tanks gives them a new lease on life! I'm so glad they've finally been fixed. As an owner of the US one and having considered the purchase of the German premium one to help my grinding through that tree, this correction makes the M47 much more versatile. Now she can handle hills like her big sister, the M48, and with a better turret traverse, she may just be my new favorite Patton for it's BR.

ATGM fix

When the “Red Skies” update went live, we got numerous reports concerning the odd trajectories of the anti-tank guided missiles. Obviously, they were not supposed to fly like that!

We’ve fixed that rather fast, but we’re not sure all the players got the good news in time. The Snail reports: ATGM launch issue is fixed, once and for all!

Has this really been fixed? I mean... are you guys serious? No more warping missiles lagging left and right like crazy?

Thx for this change. So now Mig-23M is closer to its state from the late phase of service / transitional before switching to Mig-23ML by Soviet airforce.
Suggestion - maybe Devs could shift whole FM towards Mig-23ML and even rename the vehicle, so the aircraft wold be more "meta" than is now?

Back to speed - unfortunately with the change we got a display bug. Now the blinking overspeed warning popup appears even before the SPD indicator is turning red and way before the actual structural limit of Mig-23M in the game .

It starts blinking at 1360 km/h IAS while the speed of structural limit, actual rip-speed, is over 1470 km/h IAS (1400 km/h +5%). It's blinking about 110 km/h IAS before actual rip-speed!

Spoiler

XmwtIhU.jpg

Spoiler

bpPaWaF.jpg

This is:
- misleading: the warning calls for a speed reduction when there is still absolutely no need to do so

- distracting: popup is blinking near your aiming reticle what spoils your focus on targets and general situational awareness
- annoying: popup is constantly blinking during normal, sustained level flight near top speed for example during an escape or a pursuit

How is it supposed to work correctly?

Examples of aircraft with correctly implemented overspeed warning in WarThunder are: Su-7B, Phantom F-4E, Phantom FGR.2, whole Mig-21 family. In these cases overspeed warning popup appears after red-line speed is exceeded and just before actual structural limit.

ATGMs trajectories (especially the SAM ones) are still bugged and un-predictable. The issue has not been fixed.

What do you mean?

I played few battles with Striker and had no issues.

There was a Flakpanzer shooting at me and his SAM missile was warping all over the place before hitting me, like with some connection issues although ping was 30-40 and PL was 0%

Any idea when the Vautour IIB (IAF/IDF) will have its elevators fixed? There's currently a bug, they're static (no animations). Doesn't affect the tech tree IIA and IIB.

Appreciated! I hated it when I had a tank perfectly capable of climbing a hill, but instead it got stuck because the driver kept switching between gears 1 and 2 without any logic instead of just... climbing.

I am still having some issues, a few days ago I had issue with RakJpz2, will do some testing this afternoon and report back.
It was annoying but not terrible, at leas from my point of view.

Nope, I checked now and it works ok for me.

Hi,

The problem with shifting gear is still there or I have not understood what the fixes is, the driver does 1.2.3 then it stutters and goes back to 1 and repeat the cycle again.

Tested with a Panther D.

Shifting gear manually works, it goes up uninterrupted.

The devs need to investigate why camouflage condiction is automatically changed by itself.

I never have my camo condiction of any vehicle below 100% but when respawn it is reduced to at least 50%, happened to all vehicles of any nation.

Only partially fixed.

Vehicles with mutlitple reverse gears when going downhill (in reverse) are eternally stuck in R1.

When going uphill in forward, driver still frantically at times switches between 2nd and 3rd gear, even though 3rd gear doesn't provide enough torque even at max RPM.

The behaviour is basically identical to what it was in "Ixwa Strike", save for now reverse is broken.

Not really.

Drivers stuck in first gear most time or switching between first and second gear like a hell, especially on gradients.

If u switch manuel to the second gear ,that solve the problem.

Observed especially with heavy weight british Tanks like Churchill or Centurion!
