READ BEFORE CREATING A REPORT: Creating a Useful and Valid Bug Report for All Xboxs

If you make a bug report under this section, you agree that your report may be trashed or locked if it does not contain a valid format.

 

Title

Your title should be minimal, and on point with description. It should also include Your game console name, and Version number of your war thunder client. Please do not use the tags [Feedback] [Investigating] [Waiting Reply] so on, You should only be using tags such as [Xbox 1] [Version Number] [Controls] [Input] [Keybinds] and so on. If you are unsure, just use the xbox and version tags only.

Good Examples

• [Xbox 1 X] [2.1.9.0] [Controls] Plane flaps dot not respond to user input

• [Xbox 1 VCR] [2.1.9.33] [User Input] Right Trigger does not work with user input

• [Xbox 1 S] [2.3.0.1] [Controller] Right Thumb-stick is inverted on normal controls

• [Xbox 1 VCR] [2.3.1.11] [Keyboard] Spacebar can not be bound to Drop Bombs

Bad Examples - Bad examples will result in your thread being trashed (as a last resort).

Check for other Reports before creating

 

To create a valid bug report, you must have as much detail as possible. Be descriptive, and do not combine multiple reports into one. You should check the forum for related bug reports already before making a report. This saves you time by adding on to other reports and creates more helpful cases with the technical team as a whole. Things get done quicker if everything is organized and done correctly. 

 

Remember this subforum is for xbox related issues only, these issues include, graphics, controls, and crashes, crossplay, fps issues,screen discoloring and so forth.

 

This section should not include game play issues, such as your jet engine is under powered, your wing broke off at a weird angle, a tree is in the middle of the run way, a bunker is unkillable. We have a dedicated sub forum for those issues here: Gameplay All Platforms

If you truly believe your issue(s) are related to the xbox console, proceed to make your report in the xbox section.

Due to the new Xbox Series X|S situations, There has been multiple revisions of the new xbox's motherboard and some specs are slightly different,

When uploading images, please use a website such as imgur. This will help archiving the images for later use for the devs when the final report is made.

Notes for video, please do not use Streamable or upload the videos to the forum, You can upload videos to youtube and unlist them, or since you have xbox, create a onedrive link so we can download the video and share with devs easier, make sure to remember to create a sharable link. You can also upload your video to the xbox dvr network and then use "https://xboxdvr.com" to find your upload (website syncs every 5 minutes so you might need to wait  tiny bit) you can link that video or download and upload to video that way too.

When describing your Primary Issue:

• Be descriptive

• Be accurate

• Say what gamemode or area of the game it happened at

  • EG: Arcade ground, RB Air,

  • Include any maps names and areas aswell.

    • EG: Domination White Rock Fortress, Ground Grid Zone Square E3

• Explain the events leading to your issue

  • Good Example:

    • When turning my plane and diving using right my right thumb stick, my left thumb stick would not respond until i release control of my right thumb stick.

  • Bad Example:

    • My plane no turn when using control stick

When describing the steps to recreate the issue

• Be short

• Be simple

• Be accurate

• Include any keybinds (if applicable) and make them in Quotes;(eg: "A Button", "LB" "RT")

• Include anything you might have done during the step

  • Good Example:

    • 1. Started my plane using the "X" button 1 time

    • 2. I waited for my plane to start up fully while holding down "B" button for my breaks.

    • 3. After full starting, i released my "B" button to release my breaks and let my plane roll down the run way

    • 4. I used my flaps, "Left Bumper" to go into take off mode

    • 5. I pulled my "left thumb stick" down to pull up and used my "right thumb stick" to turn

    • 6. I notice my "left thumb stick" was not responding to input as i used my "right thumb stick"

    • 7. When i release control of "Right Thumb Stick" , my "Left Thumb Stick" regained control.

  • Bad Example:

    • I start my plane

    • I held my breaks until my engine was ready

    • I was taking off and pulling up and my controls were not working any more

Primary Issue: When using the Left and Right Thumb-stick at the same time, left thumb stick has no more usability.

This happened on the map "Britain", "Air RB" , it was the "Operations" variant. Happened on the New Styled Runway for 10.7 air craft.

 

Steps to recreate Issue:

1. Started my plane using the "X" button 1 time
2. I waited for my plane to start up fully while holding down "B" button for my breaks.
3. After full starting, i released my "B" button to release my breaks and let my plane roll down the run way
4. I used my flaps, "Left Bumper" to go into take off mode
5. I pulled my "left thumb stick" down to pull up and used my "right thumb stick" to turn
6. I notice my "left thumb stick" was not responding to input as i used my "right thumb stick"
7. When i release control of "Right Thumb Stick" , my "Left Thumb Stick" regained control.

Check over your report, double check misspells, or words that might of been placed by accident, (such as double "the the" happens)

Make sure one more time your report is not listed, or already posted.
