I asked because I have only played a few bombers so far and none had mines, only normal bombs. But this kind of begs another question: why use bombs instead of mines if you have a choice? I mean if they are of equal weight - only mines inevitably seem to have more explosives. Do bombs of equal weight to mines, but with less explosive mass, still have some sort of an advantage? I know that when it comes to bombing bases, though, explosive mass will obviously be more important since that's what's counted on the scoreboard anyway.
