2021-03-01 [2.3.0.117] AH-1S (Early) missing RWR

A detailed description of the issue you have encountered. It is also important that you describe how we can reproduce the issue, if you are able to reproduce it.

Currently, Japan AH-1S (Early) does not have an RWR. However, the only difference between AH-1S (Early) and AH-1S is the nose mounted FLIR imaging device known as C-NITE.

If applicable, the full name(s) of the vehicle(s) affected.

AH-1S (Early)

Please attach screenshot(s) and/or video(s) showing the issue in game.

Jane’s All the World’s Aircraft 1991-92

In FY 1982 Fuji was selected as prime contractor for a licence manufacturing programme for Bell AH-1S HueyCobra anti-armour helicopters for the JGSDF.

These correspond to the US Army AH-1F version.

Kawasaki is delivering the T53-K-703 engines for these aircraft The JGSDF had previously purchased two Bell built AH-1E in 1977 and 1978. later upgraded to AH-1F for operational evaluation.

The first Fuji built AH-1S made it's initial flight on 2 July 1984.

Onginal JGSDF plans were to purchase 88 AH-1S These will equip five anti-tank helicopter squadrons, with a surplus for attrition and training. Orders have so far been placed for 71 aircraft, of which 54 were due to be delivered by the end of March 1991 The first squadron is based at Obihiro on Hokkaido, the second at Hachinohe and the third at Metabaru.

Two of the eight AH-1S to be ordered under the 1991 budget have been cut to offset the cost of Japans Gulf War contribution.

NEC is to produce 33 Hughes Aircraft C-Nite thermal imaging sight attachments for the AH-1S by 1996 under the FY 1992 budget.

AH-1S cockpits will also be adapted for night vision goggles and an integrated COM NAV control and display panel.

No other differences are mentioned other than C-NITE

II ATH, Hachinohe, Japan Serial No. 73418

This is the 18rd production AH-1S. Serial number 18 means the 18rd production AH-1S

This is a picture of AH-1S (Early) taken in 1995. You can see that the RWR antenna is in the marked position.

C-NITE is mounted on  from the 73rd production aircraft. so this is the AH-1S (Early).
