How do you do in the AssetViewer to make the prop hubs turn into real spinners instead of bee butts when you paint a spiral in the skin mapping?

I've painted spirals on aircraft that totally lack them, for example G2 tropical and G6, the spiral looks nice but when the propeller starts rotating the texture changes into a striped mess. How can I work on the fast propeller texture to make it look like the spirals on late 109s?
