Consistent air spawn on either all or none of the maps


So playing realistic right now Air spawn on only some of the maps but not others is resulting in certain vehicles either over or under performing based on nothing more than the map it is assigned. 

 

The issue that is arising is vehicles that are battle rated above what their flight model would typically allow because they have an attacker / interceptor / air defence fighter designation so have that early game air spawn on all maps for the energy/altitude advantage. 

 

On the maps where everyone air spawns this is putting these vehicles at a significant disadvantage because for the most part fighters at the same battle rating will have a significantly better fight model. 

 

Now I'm not really for against air spawn as a mechanic but would like it to be consistent through out. 

 

Either pick one:

  • Everyone air spawns & reduce battle ratings of current attacker / interceptor / air defence fighter based on the loss of their air spawn advantage. 

or

  • Air / airfield spawn is fixed based on vehicle class.

There should generally be a way to select mission types. 

For fighters they don't really matter, but for bombers, attackers and torpedo bombers the available targets make or break a match. 

 

It doesn't help either that there are Pacific maps, where a Torpedo bomber has to spend 10 minutes to travel to his target and drop a torpedo and another 10 minutes to get back to his carrier to rearm. 

He has no chance to do several attack runs within the 25 minute time limit and is basically dead weight for his team. 

Achievable objectives for these kinds of vehicles would be very nice to have.

War thunder.

 

Why can planes spawn **** when we have landed on an airfield to rearm, being spawn **** sucks, so now you have taken away what very little spawn protection we had. who ever came up with that idea is a knob.

you forgot that torpedo tends to not ouright kill an ai ship. that is, if the torpedo doesn't phase through the ship. funnily enough, the modern carrier is easier to be sunk by torpedo because they have naval DM unlike the ai ships
