[0.9.4.46] Crash when joining battle

Hi,

Since last update, the game crashes when joining the battle displaying only a window "Fatal Error" with nothing more.

See attachment for more details :

  • dump,
  • clog,
  • gaijin launcher log,
  • result of inxi -F command,
  • screenshot

Hope I didn't miss anything !

Thanks for the help

@filosophem,

It looks like your crashing might be related to your glibc version as EAC now requires glibc 2.27 and Mint 18.3 only has 2.23 I believe, See this report with the same issue:

Would it be possible for you to upgrade to a newer version of Mint and see if that resolves the issue?

I'm getting the same crash on a regular basis (4 times since yesterday's patch). Running Linux Mint 20, which comes with glibc v2.31.

I have the same problem. openSUSE Leap 15.2 has as well "only" glibc 2.26. Otherwise this is a AMD Ryzen 1800X, 32GB RAM with NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2060 SUPER (8GB) on 450.80.02.

@AntiSubWarfare,

So is it every time you try and start a match or is it random when it happens? Could you please upload a .clog file from when the crash occurred?

@commel1980,

Would probably be a good idea to upgrade to a newer version of glibc then, I believe there is a way of doing that in openSUSE Leap? Other openSUSE Leap users have done so.

@filosophem,

Right, Glad to hear it's working. :salute:
