When I said it was intended to be soon thats because it was. From the moment it became clear that there were then further issues, I then made that clear that there were issues, that were being worked on and we would have more news to share on the matter when we could.

 

There is nothing for me to pretend about. We have been keeping everyone as up to date as we can throughout this whole period. 

Absolutely fair.  And Good to see.  The Idea of Denmark and "improvements" to the mode excite me.  Another big map and more "love" for the mode.  Thanks for confirming BCs for next patch with this message BTW.  ;)

Oh.  New "Large" EC map.  And "Improvements" to EC.  The larger maps aren't the most popular ones.  Soooooo....why would they do another "Large" map?  And what needed "impoving" for EC?  It just needed fixing.  And he hasn't denied it.  The Italian Helo Tree and the Chinese Helo Tree have been denied. The T-90 has been denied.  BC's haven't.  Ergo.   Besides, without new Helo trees, what else do they have for this patch.  This time of year the patch is usually bonkers.  They also lead with a ship for Devblogs.  I'm calling BCs and an attempt to get more people into Naval with things like an "improved" EC.

Just let me live the dream... :p: The dream of Gaijin not introducing more power/feature creep into naval, and instead will fix the utterly broken DM. Otherwise nothing will change. BCs detonating each other from spawn, and leaving the game immediately. Nice, good job Gaijin!

Although this should not be an issue for me, since I am not playing my cruisers in any other game mode other than EC, but other than an occasional push in numbers, nothing else will come after the introduction of larger classes since naval in its entirety is flawed.

Because if BCs are coming, then there is much less room for QoL changes.

I agree. What's the use of bigger ships if they're locked behind a huge grindwall? I've been grinding for months and I still haven't gotten to the destroyers yet(albeit I'm grinding all the nations at once but it's still much slower than AF and GF). The RP gain is just so poor. The huge powercreep doesn't help either. The NF powercreep at rank II~V rivals that of top tier AF and GF. 

 

I'm also not planning to play cruisers at all. I'm just gonna stick to destroyers once I get there.

But if BCs don't come, something else will have to take it's place and it is most unlikely that it will be QoL changes.

I feel like for BCs and eventually BBs the tree will need a rework, if we're already having to get 270k for a CA (and several of them to unlock the nexxt rank) then given current multipliers in game (they need to be higher in EC too, especially for the losing team) then it would take r i d i c u l o u s l y long to get BC/BBs. On top of this the matchmaker is just plain hard for boats, just putting spawns farther apart the bigger the vessel is not really a solution, but at the same time I can't really think of a better one without just totally separating matchmaker into [PTs DDs][CL and CA][CA (maybe), BC, BB]. And then, further down the line when more advanced guided missile destroyers and whatnot is added, then what? I feel like thats possibly the only thing in this game that would work to have a separate war and postwar MM. Only other solution is a decent, permanent EC mode with objectives for all types of vessels.... so lets hope

I want to get capital ships in game, but, it really isn't ready for them yet unless the patch also comes with lots of new maps and game modes, as well as research overhaul.

 

Games we play are already too cramped for heavy cruisers. Even the single cap game mode, for some unfathomable reason, decided to shrink its capzone so much that any ship within it is well within the range where CL rate of fire spam easily overweighs any range and hitting power advantage CAs have.

 

The idea of having to play South Kvarken in a battleship doesn't give me excitement, quite the opposite in fact...

Excuse me, but Graf Spee after the HE nerf isn't any better than other 5.7 ships. Actually he's one of the hardest ships to play with, due to hight reload, high dispersion and less guns. When you manage to land properly his shots, it sometimes do the expected, sometimes not. It's no joke playing Graf Spee, you have to master it before being any thread to opposite team, despiste you beign the primary target to almost everyone since you respawn.

I have full german, american and british (almost) naval tech tree, and German is easly the hardest 5.7 line up to play with until now. Had really a hard time playing Graf Spee before learning how to manage it, and still now isn't my better score ship. Hipper is great but is easly one shoted by any 150mm+, same for Nurnberg.

If the Graf Spee "hard to play" like the Hipper, it's because those are the most powerful and solid ships and players know that! They are targeted by the entire opposing team from the spawn to prevent them from killing everyone.... 

In 1 vs 1 Hipper like Graf Spee winning against any other ship of the same class.

 

 

The most important is:  there is no BC's for this update! :crying:

Hopefully we'll get a Navigatori class destoryer in wartime refit configuration and a Duca d'Aosta class and/or Duca degli Abruzzi class light cruiser. More boats would be nice as well since there are quite a lot of 'big gun' boats and destroyer escorts that Italy used during the war.

Please consider doubling or even tripling naval rewards. They are just so poor right now and this is one of the reasons not a lot of players are playing naval. They simply don't feel rewarded for their actions.

Naval has been out for a long time and the paltry rewards haven't changed, so clearly Gaijin thinks getting crumbs is about as much as players should expect from this mode.

I am sick to see that we need to wait another 3-6-9 months to get BC. Naval begin to reach is player capacity ....
That MM is a failure in naval.
When in your team you have 2 destroyers, 1 omaha 1 prinze and one mogami. But VS you there is 3 brooklins 1 chapayev and 1 prinze ...

I was waiting for BC so much. If gaijin wants to have more player from other games and gamemode, they really need to make new ship class.

No if Gaijin wants more players to play naval they have to get rid of the powercreep, not add more. And create better short game modes(EC is too long to be normal game mode). And better maps. And increase rewards. And make the grind to the destroyers easier. And fix the damage model.
