2020-11-04 [1.101.1.33] Challenger 2 (2F) Enforcer RWS lacks vertical stabiliser

On the in game Challenger 2 (2F) there's an Enforcer Remote Weapon Station fitted on top of the turret. The tanks model in game is the same as the CR2s most notably used in 2008 around Basra which is the first time these remote weapon stations were used on the tank. This RWS should have a built in Vertical pane stabiliser but in game taking control of the turret shows it's not stabilised and wobbles up and down when you move. It's my understanding from talk and videos that for the Enforcer I which is the model used on the CR2s prior to the 2019+ Modernisation schemes (as opposed to Enforcer II used elsewhere) Enforcer I only stabilises on the vertical pane and not horizontally. The RWS itself is a licence made copy of the "mini-samson" from Rafael advanced defence systems.

I should also add that this RWS would be operated by the loader, not the commander IRL which may need adjusting in game but I'm unsure if you'd want me to do a seperate bug report for that.

The Enforcer I is also in use on the FV432 Bulldog and the Panther Command and Liaison vehicle so I will try to use some of those for the source.

The "bug fix" would be to give the Enforcer turret a vertical stabiliser.

Spoiler

You can see in the above video the vertical stabilisation in effect on this slightly more modern Challenger 2.

This above video of FV432 Bulldogs on the move seems to have Enforcer turrets with 50. Cals or L37A2s fitted but the guns remain quite stable despite the fact they're moving at high speed.

And here you can see a Panther with its own Enforcer RWS vertically stabilised to good effect.

(This PDF and this page is to confirm the Enforcer is used on CR2)

Hello!

In this case, The video is not enough evidence for the vertical stabiliser of the ENFORCER SELF DEFENCE WEAPON SYSTEM.

Can you provide additional documentation?

Regards

Selex brochure on the Enforcer II retrieved from a web-archive of their website (not online anymore as it was purchased by Leonardo).

It mentions the Enforcer II is based on the specific Enforcer that the UK has in service. Seen below the Enforcer I offers optional stabilization so this suggests to me that the UK got that option and the enforcer II therefore includes it as it's based on that specification.

As for the enforcer I,

Armada lists it as a license of the Samson Mini (page 15)

And Rafael lists the SAMSON mini as a dual axis gyro-stabilized RWS

Edit: Found PDF on the Enforcer I with some more web-archive crawling. Stabilization is listed as an optional installation.
