I actually like fighting in the lower tiers (the aircraft I like are found there). I'm certainly new, only having played for 6 months or so. I've been dabbling in naval battles and prefer either Sim or RB for aircraft. Looking for some people to kick around on these lower tiers with. Do you think I'd fit into your design?

I did that too, to see if the Squad fits my personal style, sense of humor and expectations on the game and it has fully met those. 

 

The squad is not a place for people to sit idle and grind squadron vehicles. This is a nice by-product and 20k points every time helps a lot, but War Thunder is a team player game and having 3 other players join in the next uptier and being bombed out by CAS is actually a lot more fun than it sounds

The thing is that many of us have nations we haven't started with yet. 

It's a bit more difficult during those grinding events like the Winter event and also for the Battlepass tasks, as these events either require a Rank III vehicle (Battlepass) or you want to use your highest tier vehicle to get the 40k mission points as quickly as possible. 

 

But the battlepass is coing to an end and the winter event too, so there are people who are going to start on a new nation eventually

Our Squadron has many experienced players: Pilots, Tankers and Skippers.

 

We're all happy to help you understand what the basics are, which controls and key binds are essential and which tactics lead you to success.

Along with the team work experience in the battles where we have each others back, we'll all work together to master the challenges of War Thunder, right after we stop laughing...

 

 

This is not an idle squadron with a few people being active, this is also no squadron vehicle farming place.

We have several people who enjoy the lower tier battles and who will be happy for team mates. 

 

I think the lvl 35 is not set in stone as long as the rest fits.

When we move out as squad, we move as team and we fight as a team.

 

And even though not all of us make it back, this is a sacrifice we're all willing to make to ensure we have a great game experience. 

 

With the 33GAC you can be assured that we'll do our best to win the game and if we're not winning, we at least make sure the enemy team has to work for their victory...hard!

At the 33rd GAC we make the grind more bearable by joining forces and even if we're not always winning, we give the other guys a good run for their (virtual) money! 

 

And sometimes we also pull some stunts to get the shot the enemy doesn't expect

The 33rd GAC is getting slowly back into Squadron Battles.

 

We don't see that as a MUST WIN activity, as our focus is clearly on having fun and working together as a team. 

If we can confuse the enemy then the better:

 

Though, every now and then we do seem to be successfull with our teamwork and when you get to beat another Squadron, then it does feel great. 

Usually the games are fair and we see a lot less of the usual salty chat so they are a welcome change to the grind

 

But aside from that we enjoy the game together and we support each other through our Battlepass tasks and TechTree grinds.

Here we are working on the Tank Destroyer challenge in the Batltepass, which is not as bad when you have teammates to laugh at when they're being strafed in their open top vehicle  

 

 

But we also have a good portion of players who enjoy top tier, so we can really offer you a team experience in the realistic game modes and even sometimes in Arcade and Sim across all tiers and across all nations.

"The path is the goal." sums up War Thunder pretty neatly and so we travel the path together in all game modes and across all platforms. 

 

When the Squadron Battle Season is on, then we have fun in those and while winning a round is fun, there are also laughs to be shared when we lose and the last of us in the round is trying to get his bomber back to base  

 

This is then even better when the total wreck is actually getting repaired, after crashing into the ammo depot at the airfield

 

 

So come along when we make the grind for the TT or the BP tasks more enjoyable as team and when having a good time is the most important part.

A big and heartfelt THANK YOU for everyone who joined the World War Mode on our side and helped us all to score some really impressive wins and intense battles. 

We had a blast and also a big shoutout to those we got paired against, it was a lot of fun! 

 

Our commanders did a really good job, I guess those "Hearts of Iron" games really played out

 

We joined the crucial battles wherever we could and made sure that we had some "mission experts" to help with the objective:

 

But also on the ground we had missions were we did our level best to ensure a win:

Farming Silver Lions for unlocking the Tech Tree vehicles, modules and crew levels is an important part of the game.

At the 33GAC we'll not only do that together (if you want) but also support each other while doing so and having a better chance at winning the round, while sharing a laugh if you hit a tree or the mountain side
