The following vehicles have had the cost of APFSDS rounds corrected as follows:

• modification level I — 200 Silver Lions
• modification level II — 300 Silver Lions
• modification level III — 400 Silver Lions
• modification level IV  — 600 Silver Lions

If a vehicle has access to only one APFSDS round (at level III), its cost is set equal to the modification level IV (600 SL).

As much as I hate to be negative, that this change only affects tanks with two APFSDS rounds, combined with the terrible change in the last update, is no help.

It does not change the fact that every high tier ground battle is a massive SL loss. (Even if you get anything killed at all which was made very difficult by the unfair previous changes)
 

Reversing the previous update and changing the cost to max 400 SL, even for tanks with only one APFSDS round, would be a more acceptable solution

This doesn't even take into account MASSIVE performance difference between different shell types.

Why does 3BM22 on T-64A and T-72A cost the same as CL3143, which has 200mm more flat pen and almost twice as much 60° pen?

Why does M774 on M1 Abrams cost the same as DM23 on Leopard 2A4/Strv 121 at the same BR, despite DM23 being drastically superior?

 

Not to mention, that it doesn't solve the problem of atrocious stock grind and huge performance difference between stock tanks and upgraded.

On top of not being able to repair, not being able to put out fires and not being able to see anything in night battles, stock tanks now can't even kill enemies, because HEAT-FS is UNUSABLE in high-tier battles.

Basically, stock tanks are flat out unplayable and unusable. They are not battle ready. 

 

Revert these changes, Gaijin.

Give stock APFSDS to tanks which had it.

Give stock DM13 for Leopard 2A4.

Give stock M827 for M1A1 and M1A2.

Give stock DM23 for Type 90 and Type 90 (B).

Give stock 3BM15 for ZTZ-96 and ZTZ-96A.

Give stock OFL 120 G1 for Leclerc.

Make OFL 120 G1 a Tier 1 modification for AMX-32/40.

Lowering APFSDS costs is definitely a step in the right direction. But we don't want to settle for lowered APFSDS prices. We want to have a viable stock APFSDS round for every top tier MBT. I can guarantee you that after making that change, your playerbase will be happier. And guess what? A happy customer is a good customer who stays around longer and pays more.

Thats a step in a right direction, but even still: Where is the stock APFSDS for top tier tanks? Changing the price of the ammo doesn't solve the core issue here.

No, you don't get it do you? You don't balance something by changing it's price, it doesn't work for repair cost and it won't work for shells. I personally have 4 mil SL and I do not care about shell price,don't get me wrong it's good if it's low and I think it should be even lower then this change or removed entirely, because it's not balance factor for anything. But when you get so much heat from community all you can do is lower price? You only listen to feedback when it's not about money like sounds, they won't make your income higher so you lower them as community wants, but when it's about something that can be bought with gold, now that's a problem to listen to community feedback about making all tanks have stock APDFSDS...

i mean, am SL broke for Top tier matches but i can agree with the decision of managing my economical risk of having to pay ammo for frags. So indeed i agree with all this costs.

But i wish rewards were more...Rewarding. So everyone can freely invest in ammo, and get kills then recieve a good pay off. Anything on this?

Most of the rounds are still way too expensive. Please revert yesterday's changelog, stock heat is just a horrible change, having to pay for the weakest dart is also a horrible change.

This is really frustrating, you devs balance the vehicle with repair cost (which is dumb) already, and now another mean of balance with high ammo cost? (which is another dumb thing for tanks that only have APFSDS as 3rd lvl modification)

 

Can't we just have some basics mods for all the vehicles to ease up the grind? 

- Modern jet have some basic loadout like early type missile, bombs to start with instead of gun only?

- Modern MBTs have early APFSDS to make battles for fair and square?

- High tier ships have basic AP shell?

 

WHY? Do you even try to grind your own game???
