Aircraft characteristics, damage model, and weapon improvements:

  • Parameters relating to the resistance of an aircraft’s materials (cladding and power train) to secondary shell fragments have been fixed. Previously, aircraft and helicopters had an inflated survivability when they were under fire from anti-aircraft shells with remote detonators.

Sound:

  • The sound characteristics of the guns on ground vehicles have been corrected.
  • The volume level of the player’s aircraft engines has been slightly raised.
  • A bug has been fixed where the start and stop sounds coming from the engines of some allied/enemy ground vehicles would sound as if they were closer and louder than the regular engine sound itself.

Fleet:

  • Admiral Graf Spee — The display of the ammunition amount for the main calibre aft stock has been fixed.

Other:

  • The possibility of receiving and trading trophies with user made camouflages as well as trading of keys for them for PlayStation 4® users in the Japanese region has been temporarily disabled.

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

this mean proximity fuse shells and sam missile work perfectly ?

Great change. The veak and the m247 really needed that, and I easily felt the change after the last “buff” to 40mm fuse shells. glad to see that they get better even more.

I am grateful for fixes and updates to this game however the engine noise in air battles is excessive. If you add voice comms with other players to the mix it becomes very frustrating. I understand that it would be loud IRL but that shouldn't be forced on players in my opinion. Thanks

You can turn your engine sound down if you feel it’s too loud.

Does this affect other shells that, as I understand it, rely on fragmentation damage like FI-T belts on Russian aircraft cannons?

オプションの設定に関してはプレイヤーのエンジン音は既に最小にしています。

何度かのアップデートでベースの音量が大きくなっていることに対する指摘です。

It has already been minimized.

It is a point out that the volume of the bass is getting loud with several updates.
