Aceism 15 Report post Posted May 19, 2020 I've been working on a Gulf War scenario and was testing a push forward, fire, reverse back into cover feature. I can't get the AI to reverse after firing, all it does is turn around and drive to the backup point. Is there any way to get an AI to reverse? I used the "unitMoveTo" function to get them to move. Video of what I'm talking about: (Yes I know I'm in a T-80U and on the US side. I just don't own any high tier US vehicles and was using my T-80U as the test vehicle for the mission.) Aceism 15 Report post Posted May 19, 2020 Thank you for the reply! The AI still turns around, but will now reverse away from the MoveTo location. I could get around this by setting the destination to in front of the M1 and using a unitWhenInArea function to get it to stop when its in the right area. Is there any fix to this? To be honest I saw reversing tanks in this video: So I'll ask some people about that, maybe I'll get an answer, but I bet they just set the speed as the negative value.
