DeeDoS 2 Report post Posted January 25, 2020 This thing is based off of the M113 chassis, which is designed for 0 prep amphibious capability. Why does it sink in game? I can understand why something like the M551 is a stretch at how it has to be prepped first. This doesn't seem to make any sense. Some links all agreeing it's amphibious.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M901_ITVhttp://military-today.com/missiles/m901.htmhttps://www.militaryfactory.com/armor/detail.asp?armor_id=106https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/m901-anti-tank-missile-carrier.417159/ https://www.inetres.com/gp/military/cv/at/M901.htmlhttps://wikimili.com/en/M901_ITV

PumpScout 160 Report post Posted April 24, 2020 I know this is from a while ago, but a little real world experience. We had three M-113A2 and three M-901 vehicles in my platoon initially. The 113's were technically amphibious, although we weren't willing to risk dying by submerging them and trusting that all the seals would hold. The 901's were absolutely not water capable. Not only are they several tons heavier than their 113 counterpart, all that weight is on top, which changes the center of gravity. They were tippy on dry land. 2 1
