  • F9F-8, Br.693AB2 - A bug where the aircraft missed the visual model of the landing gear has been fixed

 

Naval fleet model, damage model, characteristic and weaponry changes:

  • Weaponry
    • Armour piercing, normalization and ricochet parameters of semi armour-piercing shells for all nations (SAP, SAPBC, Common, Special Common, CPC, CPBC) have been fixed by taking into account available historical data.
    • Penetration of the OF-73 shell with a base fuze for the 45 mm 21-KM canon has been fixed.

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

No Gaijin, this is not realistic, revert to the De Marre formula, it is more accurate and takes physics into account.

It is impossible for this (8 inch Common Mk 14 SAPBC) to penetrate about the same armor of-

-this (8 inch H.C. Mk 25 HE), it should penetrate much more armor than the HE, it is clearly visible that the HE is not designed to penetrate the armor, just the skin of a ship, the walls are too thin compared to the SAPBC which have half the explosive, it is physics.
