DB-3A have in game upper turret with vertical guidance from +10 to +90.

But the upper turret in game has strange unshot zones, which should not be. This turret in the game is useless.

Lower turret guidance: horizontal +-5, vertical -90, +0

Front turret guidance:horizontal +-60, vertical -20, +60

And now we look how it should be according to the original manual. I think that knowledge of the Russian language is not needed in this case.

The model of the machine gun ShKAS in turrets was made with a mechanical sight and mounted over optical sight. Really? Do you have any secret documents about ShKAS?

Thanks for report.

The top turret will be difficult to model exactly as possible as the model simplifies the guidance.

Nose and ventral are incorrect.

DB-3A ShKAS model wrong.

An example of the correct model of ShKAS  machine gun in a turret Tandem MAI.

Upper turret model is incorrect. The machine gun is in the wrong fixed position.

The turret IRL had a movable arc on which a movable machine gun was mounted.

Upper turret must have vertical guidance as in original manual.

It is called a Scarff Ring.

So the cover is not attached to gun support itself, cannot think of any other design like this, interesting.  Something new about Russian designs.

Can you provide links to your image sources?

Just FYI, this is how Scarff rings work

This one took a lot of time, even though looks simple.
