P-59A Airacomet .50 M2HB Ammo Count

The P-59A Airacomet has far too much .50 caliber ammo for its three M2HB heavy machine guns.

All difficulty settings as this is a issue with the amount of ammunition available to the vehicle.

As you can see, the three M2HB .50 caliber heavy machine guns on the P-59A Airacomet currently have access to 1,800 rounds of ammunition. This is grossly over performing compared to reality, three times as much ammunition as it historically had.

8. Detailed description of the fix you suggest. Provide sources including references that underline your position. This is up to the discretion of the Technical Moderator handling the report, however the number of sources required depends on the type of source presented.

As per AN 01-110FF-2, the three M2HB .50 caliber heavy machine guns should have a total of 600 rounds of ammunition, 200 rounds per M2HB. It should not be 600 rounds of ammunition per M2HB, totaling to 1,800 rounds of ammunition for the M2HBs.

Good find, suspected it was too much but never could find the qty.

Hope to find 1 more reference, but this is fine.

 

...and found it, page 155~156 lists the same amount.

Even in same document such verification is desirable!
