Fleet:

  • A bug while using the keyboard for the in-game chat system in Naval Battles caused vessels to react to text has been fixed.
  • US 40 mm Bofors cannons have been replaced by British models on the following vessels:
    • Class Dark (both boats)
    • Class Brave
    • Battle (D14)
  • IJN Mutsuki - The maximum amount of torpedoes has been changed from 10 to 12.
  • The maximum amount of ammunition for the 2pdr QF Mk.IIc autocannon on the Fairmile C and Fairmile C (332) boats have been fixed.
  • HE shell icons, which displayed incorrect armour piercing values, have been fixed.
  • The type and weight of explosive mass and initial speed for Japanese 100-203 mm shells have been fixed.
  • Shell related errors have been fixed for the following ships:
  • IJN Kuma - 140 mm type 2 SAP semi-armour piercing shell has been added for research.
  • IJN Agano - 152 mm Type 4 SAP shell has been fixed. 152 mm Type 4 HE researchable shell with base fuse has been removed. 152 mm type 4 SAP semi-armour piercing shell has been added instead.
  • Research points and in currency for removed modifications have been returned to those who purchased them.
  • The type and weight of the explosive mass for the Japanese 610 mm Type 93 torpedo have been fixed.
  • The name of the 76 mm OTO-Melara autocannon on the German Type 143 (Albatros) boat have been fixed, and the time it takes for the cannon to overheat has been increased.
  • Ya-5M - The order, usage display, and reloading of rockets have been fixed.
  • Pr.1204 Late - The name of the 76 mm D-56 cannon has been changed to the D-56TS cannon. A Cannon stabiliser has been added.
  • A bug with “black” ammunition displayed in main calibre magazines on cruisers and destroyers has been fixed. If the main calibre ammunition Magazine is destroyed, it will now explode.
  • The damage models of cruisers and destroyers have been refined:
  • Overestimated bulkhead and deck thicknesses have been fixed;
  • Side thicknesses have been increased on many destroyers up to 23 mm, which no longer allows many of the 88-127 mm shells to penetrate the ship enough to explode.
  • Several ship modules such as pumps, fuel tanks, cisterns, transmission shafts, torpedo launchers and depth bomb launchers will no longer easily stop medium to large calibre armour-piercing shells. Now, with enough power, these shells will be able to punch through them.
  • Transmission shafts, propellers and rudder feathers are now less susceptible to damage from shrapnel and explosions. Direct hits to these modules are guaranteed to damage or disable them.
  • Fuel cisterns are now able to better absorb splinters, while allowing the armour-piercing shells to penetrate them completely if the shell has enough power to pass through the cistern.
  • On ships with coal-powered boilers (Class Isles, Class Flower, SGB (S304)) their coal pits will now better absorb kinetic damage. It will be more difficult for armour-piercing shells to pass through them completely, but it may give off a lot of secondary fragments.

Ground vehicles:

  • M36B1, AUBL/74 - First-order ammunition rack mechanics have been added.
  • Merkava Mk.1 - A bug making turning/steering utilizing the neutral gear has been fixed. Sighting multiplicity up to x8 has been fixed. Awesome!

Stona, could we get the source on the ammunition change for the Agano? Every outlet of the internet says it was an HE shell, but somehow it now became SAP.

Thank you we actually have two decent challenger 1 and 2 fixes but unfortunately we still have plenty more issues to get fixed on both challenger 1s and challenger 2 like the underperforming Armour on challenger 1 and the underperforming ufp armor and missing Dorchester armour in the mantlet on challenger 2. Also the Romor-A era on challenger 1 MK3 is supposed to protect against at least 600mm against chemical and also when the front ERA plates are hit all them explode irl when one ERA brick is hit it explodes but it doesn't affect the other ERA bricks around it. Also challenger 2 is still missing its combat armour packages it had 2 armour packages before challenger 2 went through its first upgrades.

There is evidence apparently that it had SAP.

Merkava horsepower was 900 HP spaded before.

What was changed?

Oh and Leopard 2A5 trunnion is still missing!

It has been accidently (I hope accidently) removed while fixing the Leopard 2A5's turret armour holes in 1.89!

Name changed, but gun is still overheating after 31 rounds fired (not changed) :dntknw:

Bug report made.

Even though it's not stated in the patch-notes, I am very thankful, that my bug-report on the sight-magnification of the Maus and E-100 was implemented! :salute:

Oh, good that you mention that, I might take out my E-100 again and try out some sniping.

Nice work, Gaijin. Particularly pleased about the Challenger 1/2 fixes, it's a good start and it gives me hope they will eventually be historically accurate and competitive! Especially the mantlet of the Challenger 2 is important to look at

You can still see the last part that got removed in german patchnote

you know that the Ferdinand has the 8,8cm PjK and not the 7,5cm PaK39? So why changing the sight for a 8,8cm cannon based on a shooting manual for the 7,5cm PaK39?

The 2pdr APHE round doesnt seem to have a fuze, it just morphs into the armor and acts like any other solid shot round but with less pen. It also isnt recognized by the protection analysis.

when are the Belts going to get fixed on the Bradley? it had a dual feed system to separate AP and HE none of the Bradley variants ever had mixed belts and what of the standard TOWs on the M3 being replaced by ITOWs as it stands the US is the only nation without Proper advanced TOWs on their high teir tanks excluding the ADATS SPAA.

Good to see the Brits 40mm getting APHE.

Now what about the Japanese low tier ? They are among the vehicles that begging for higher penetrating rounds for so many years?

When are they going to get better ammunition that can pen more than 40mm while everyone else is swinging their 50-70 mm pen at the same BR ? What is the fair in that ?

There are many reports on the missing of Japanese ammunition but the devs never wanted  Japanese low tier to be equally good as every other nations, so it seems hence why we are still stuck with guns that can't even pen the side of an Sherman plus the penetration changes just made them even worse....

the British 2 pounder APHE is bugged, it has no fuse sensitivity or delay, the shells self destruct on impact even on armor the stat card says it should easily penetrate. but causes strange damage to the enemies modules.
