[feedback] The Japanese Type 2 13 mm machine gun needs a fix.

"日本海軍ではMG131を二式十三粍旋回機銃としてライセンス生産したものを採用している。オリジナルの電機式雷管が国産化できず衝撃式に改めた結果、電機式同調装置による機首固定機銃化ができず、旋回機銃としてのみ用いられている。 "

Translate:

"The Japanese Navy has adopted licensed of MG131 as a Type 2 13mm rotating machine gun. As a result of converting the original electric primer into an impact primer, then it can't be used as fixed nose gun because electric synchronizer can not be used, and it is used only as a rotating gun."

However in the game the Type 2 machine gun used the data of Type 3 13.2 mm fixed machine gun (can be seen from the ROF), so it need to be repaired in order to keep historical accurate.

You need to provide 2 secondary sources.

Wikipedia is NOT an approved source, it is a 3ed generation source (but it may have links to approved sources).

@AWACS_Magic

You provided a single source, we need 2.

You also do not mention what units in game have the issue.

I understand there is an error, but I do not know where to find that error, and we need a CLOG to verify this error.

The Stat card in game may not be what the game uses as data.

You have interest in fixing this issue, please provide more detail.

You can ask @*tester188 for help.

Thank you.

Hi, @AWACS_Magic and @Pony51,

I agree with the AWACS_Magic claim. Historically, the rate of fire for the 13 mm Type 2 flexible machine gun (licensed production MG 131) is 900 to 936 rpm, but for the game is 798 rpm.

Name of the affected aircraft:

  • D4Y3 Ko
  • B7A2
