Ataka Missile on Shturm-S

The main thing about NERA that people seem to forget is that it is still reactive armor. If a tandem warhead hits it, the precursor warhead will put a hole in the NERA that is easily large enough for the cumulative jet of the main warhead to pass through and remain completely unaffected.

It doesn't matter how many NERA plates there are in a pack unless there is really a ridiculous quantity of them. A pack of a few NERA plates will really mess up the precursor jet, but the precursor warhead will have already done its job of putting a hole in each plate.

Well yes, i was sure that would behave that way. Now, the most difficult thing was to find sources backing that up. For example on the Ataka you can even get official penetration figures from the manufacturer, but they only list penetration after ERA.
