  • A bug where the M4A3E2 (76) W exhibited the 75 mm M3 gun model, rather than the 76 mm М1, has been fixed (source).
  • Sea Hawk Mk.100 - a bug with secondary armament has been fixed.
  • Type 74, Type 74G - textures of the attached elements have been fixed.
  • Chieftain Marksman - radar allocation on the model has been fixed. 
  • A bug with damage value and number of secondary shards for the following rounds has been fixed (damage and number of shards has been increased):

12.03.2019 Server Update

 

  • 125mm 3BM22 - Penetration values updated. Source: Вестник Бронетанковой Техники №12/1991г.
  • Т-64А, Т-72А - 3BM15 replaced with 3BM22. 3BM12 replaced with 3BM15.
  • C1 Ariete - A bug with impossibility of shifting to second reverse gear has been fixed. Maximum power RPM has been changed from 2200 to 2300 rpm.  
  • For AS-20 and AA-20 Nord missiles, the launch button in the settings has been changed to the launch of the missiles “air-to-ground”.
  • Research cost for the modifications "Parts" and "FPE" for rank 7 ground vehicles have been reduced.

 

 


The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

So far so good guys. :)

Waiting patiently for the 1.87 Dev Server buffs to Tier 3-5 APCR & APDS to go live.

 

Hopefully we see postpen increases on these round types as well, if that’s not too much to ask. No ammo type deserves being nerfed into useless status, it only drives compression of tiers and results in absurd situations like the Pz III M & L sitting at 3.0 with 150mm pen APCR - they sit there because that round does essentially nothing when it pens, which isn’t right from a gameplay perspective.

"Fixed" means INCREASED, or DECREASED?

I would LOVE to see some love given to Aircraft in the form of a reduction to RP cost of modifications, some modifications are obnoxiously expensive, some cost 110K SL, 61K RP etc. Please give aircraft some economy love!

This is a fix for the low fragment count on rounds that used the long rod modifiers. This also increases the fragments created by DM33/JM33.

I fought a battle on one of the new maps (the really big one with islands in the NW corner.  When I brought a plane in, the plane was jumping all over the place and eventually ended up in the water.  It could still move but I was stuck in the water and I could not bail out with the J key.  e

So, when are we getting the reduced repair, ammunition, and RP/SL costs of most tanks?

 

I actually debated spending my convertible RP on unlocking the Abrams (I only had it about 1/3 of the way unlocked) before it was required to research the XM-803 first because I was specifically under the impression (from everything I read from official dev posts/updates) that high-tier costs, along with crew training cost, would be getting reduced with the release of 1.87.  You can imagine my disappointment after logging in after the 1.87 patch dropped and saw that NONE of those changes had been implemented yet.  :(

 

Are there plans to implement these economy changes anytime soon?  If so, can you give us a general ETA?  Thanks!

I'm still trying to find out a reason for this and addition of 3BM42 to T-64B and T-80B... Even tho they may have had that ammo historically. I think it would be pretty fair to give Americans M833 or even better shell for M1 and IPM1. DM33 for Leopard 2A4 and L26 for Challengers MK2 and MK3...

I'm assuming this is because 3BM-12 and 3BM-15 performed like utter trash in the dev server when they tried changing their pen values

 

3BM-15 currently still has its old pen values, which just seems silly compared to the much more accurate 3BM-22 penetration we have now

 

does this mean 3BM-12 and 3BM-15 will be fixed and return in the future?

Just looking to know but did you use get L26 penetration from an L11A5 are the L30A1. Because L26 fired from an L30A1 used a more powerful charge compared to an L11A5.

Still waiting on the Chally 1 and 2 to have their first stage ammoracks fixed. They currently only hold 4 rounds in the ready rack before you go to a ridiculously long reload.

What about the 120mm L23? I died so many times shooting an enemy and only killing 1 crewmember...it feels the post pen damage is worse than on the APDS rounds

Hi Stona...

 

I've a question regarding that last update - now we have tanks on rank VII, but the related crew skills on repairing in AB Groundforces ends at rank VI. Could that mean, that the newest tanks will need no more repairs?  ;-) - Or will that corrected within one of the next updates?

I have found that there are some vehicles in War thunder that had their penetration reduced after this update that do not fire APFSDS projectiles but instead fire APHEBC or APCBC. These rounds seemed to have been nerfed and for some of them, it was less penetration than they had before the original changes. Since I haven’t seen any mention of this, I assume that this is a bug and would enjoy its removal. Thank you.

Say that to M774 which is worse than M735 now after the changes, heck because of how Armour calculation works with composite (prefers flat pen over angled) M735 is actually the better shell. so US are in need of something to either replace M735 or M744. so move M774 as stock and add M833 or remove M774 because it performs worse and add M833 and leave M735.
